MY REVIEW: This place has really grown on me, as a place to hang-out after work or head to during a bike ride around the neighborhood. Friendly staff and patrons, and some real knock-out values on wines, lite-bites and even a mid-day coffee.

Great cheeses and quiche plates, as well as pastries done by a baker that has taken the city by storm from what I've read (and now happily believe!): Joe Steelhammer.

Very cool laid back patios in front and out back with a mixture of art done by locals and sculpture from around the world. Mojitos and sangria aid the conversation flow, and there's a low-key dj spinning on the weekends. Cozy, cultured, friendly...it's a cool find close-in to the city, one that doesn't come with snobs and posers found elsewhere.

MY REVIEW: I used to go here all the time. Until I started getting ugly frowns when I ordered coffee. Nice place and decor, however that's the only thing that renders the title Boheme. The people that go there are not bohemians at all.

MY REVIEW: I guess the owner read the bad reviews about the coffee service-NOW the cappuccinos are fab and quick!

I went with family on weekday morning and all 4 coffees were delivered quickly and barman was very polite-- then went on Saturday morning with elderly lab and both coffees and water for dog were served with smiles and small talk. This is a "neighborhood" place that seems to be acting "neighborly"

MY REVIEW: I have to agree w/ the posting about ordering coffee. When you order coffee here the bartenders are confused or they say, "don't bother me I'm not in the mood for making coffee". Maybe this is the service regulars get so do not become a regular!

I used to frequent this bar b/c it was in walking distance of my house, but the service became unbearable. The bartenders are rude, slow, unprofessional, and clueless! If you want a drink it will take any where from 15-20 mins to get serviced. This is when no one is in the bar. When its busy no telling how long it will take if they even act like they see you. There are plenty of bars in Midtown/Washington Ave. who have a better wine selection and great service. Boheme should really try working on a lot before they lose business altogether.

MY REVIEW: Went their for coffee during the day....they were like "Huh?" when I placed my order. YOU SHOULDN'T ADVERTISE COFFEE IF YOU'RE ONLY INTERESTED IN SERVING ALCOHOL! And if you're advertise coffee, you should offer more than just coffee. I can get that from a gas station. Geez, even M*cD's has figured that one out.

MY REVIEW: the atmosphere is the best ever for a wine redezvous--moody electic etc--but for a wine/CAFE------ really? where does the cafe part come in? Is there an actual kitchen? and turning the parking places into a patio? hmmmmmmm i'd rather park my car and STAND INSIDE-parking problems are one of those quirky things that makes someone choose a bar that DOES have parking even tho you like the atmosphere of boheme's--

MY REVIEW: Nice atmosphere - dark, eclectic, urban yet not too polished. Definitely a comfortable vibe ( unlike the midtown meat-market). The wine from Argentina was nice. The place was not very crowded when we arrived around 8:30pm. We were served generous amounts of wine in our glasses. The cost was $5 or $6 per glass. They also had more expensive offerings on the menu. One of our friends wanted coffee or espresso. The bar only had coffee, which was not very good. We also thought we would order some apps, but none were available at the time. The friendly bartender said they would offer food soon, but he could offer no other details. As we were leaving Boheme, we noticed a small group of customers had picked up some take-out from Z*iggy's, which is across the street on Fairview. I wish the bartander would have mentioned that this was allowed - we would have done the same and possibly stayed longer at Boheme -- after all, we did enjoy the space but we were also hungry.

We'll probably give this place another chance.

MY REVIEW: Nice decor, total wine dive atmosphere. We were given a menu list of wine none of wish is available. But, apparently they were pushing their Austrailian wine, because the server kept having us taste all sorts of Austrailian wine hoping we'd settle for something. Don't give us a menu if you don't have anything on there to offer. While they were generous and not charge us for any of the tasting, they need to have what they say they'd offer before opening shop. They also promised a small menu for food, but none to be had.
