Jitters Espresso
1755 Northpark Dr, Kingwood, Texas 77339
MY REVIEW: Well, there haven't been any reviews of Kingwood Coffee since 2005, but I needed a nice coffee shop that wasn't based in Seattle, so I took a chance on this place. By the way, the name has been changed to Jitters Coffee, same location though.
I actually was up there to do a job interview with someone that flew into Bush, and who only had a little time on a layover. He wanted coffee so I took him here. This was a great call.
The place is tiny, but you're overwhelmed by the great smell of coffee when you walk in. There's nice comfy couches, and not too much Muzak or noise (except when the proprietor makes some more cappuccino, and the machine's LOUD). There was one other patron working on a laptop, so this place also has free Wi-Fi (although it's not advertised). Homey is a good adjective to describe the place.
The guy I was interviewing with had a cappuccino, and I had some frozen mango iced tea thingy. Both were incredible. My colleague said it was one of the better coffees he's had in a while, and he has the benefit of tasting coffee on 2 continents (he's a German working in Denver). There was a lot of drive-through traffic during the 2 hours I was there, which tells you just how popular this coffee joint is.
I impressed the guy I was talking with by taking him to Jitters, so it looks like I'm going to get this job. I think you'll be impressed by the atmosphere, and the drinks, if you come here.
