MY REVIEW: This is my FAVORITE breakfast spot in Houston. The menu is short, sweet and reasonably priced (big plates go for about $6), but it doesn't omit any traditional American breakfast favorites. I love the granola with fruit, the healthy plate, the biscuits, the potatoes (somewhere between a seasoned french fry and a hotfry), and the organic, fair-trade coffee.
During the week, you should have no trouble getting a table inside, and the weekend wait is never horrible... and I think they offer free coffee to those on wait. Service can be spotty, but as long as you have a sense of humor and a little flexibility, all is well. Use the time to quiz your brunch-mates with the Trivial Pursuit cards they stuff in the sugar box.

MY REVIEW: Been a couple of times and the food is decent but the service was absolutely horrible especially for lunch on a sunday. So disappointed and frustrated by the service I honestly just wanted to get up and leave...
But I must say the Barnaby's on West Gray is absolutly wonderful! In fact one of my fav's.
