MY REVIEW: The ambience is very nice. The drive-thru is very convenient when you're short on time and know what you want to order. I'd visited several times over the last few years, and I find the cakes and cupcakes visually appealing with lackluster flavor. Most of their cakes are so tall that one might think they are 3 layers, but in fact many of them are only two layers with an extraordinarily excessive amount of icing between and outside the layers. However, for the first time I tried the white chocolate bread pudding last visit and it was phenomenal! It was made with croissant bread, and what I liked most was that it tasted divine without being overly sweet! I also ordered a pricey cup of dull-tasting, tepid coffee. I highly recommend the bread pudding!

MY REVIEW: I am amazed by the shear variety of desserts at Ooh La La! There's definitely something for everyone. So far I have tried the mini banana cream pie, the red velvet cake, the carrot cake, and the tiramisu. My only complaint is with the tiramisu, it tasted like sugar-free tiramisu. No complaints with the other items though. I will definitely continue to revisit Ooh La La.

MY REVIEW: I ordered a Hummingbird cake for my mom's 84th Birthday party. It is not on the menu at this location but they made it for her anyway. It was the BEST cake I have ever tasted. Very moist, the icing was so good too! YUMMO! All of her friends and my mom raved about it and loved it so much! I have bought cupcakes from this location, cookies, and an occasional lemon bar from here as well in the past. They all have been excellent but that cake was just oh so good. I can't wait for another occasion/excuse to order another one! I wish they made Hummingbird cupcakes....hint hint... :D

MY REVIEW: Always 'Great Staff' at counter; delicious treats. They do amazing things with chocolate. All the cupcakes and my birthday cake we ordered tasted moist and worth every penny.

MY REVIEW: This place has amazing desserts! They are a nice place to go and get a high quality dessert with friends or to pick up something for a special occassion. The tiramisu is the best I've had anywhere and the tres leches is also really good. The cupcakes are a little bit thick rather than light and fluffy, it just depends on what you prefer.

MY REVIEW: I really enjoyed this place. Its a perfect spot for that Sunday afternoon treat with friends. The staff is very nice, and the cake was delicious and not smothered in overly sweet icing. I will definitely visit again.

MY REVIEW: I decided to try this bakery based on the good reviews online. I went here and ordered 2 dozens of cupcakes. They were really pretty and set me back about $65. They were ready upon my arrival, but when I picked them up they seemed to have been sitting out for a while. The icing had started to spread off the cupcakes and the strawberries were falling off also. The main reason, I paid this price is because I wanted pretty cupcakes, and not the usual ones that you would get from Kroger or HEB. Well they were cute for at least 15 minutes. When I got home I had to refrigerate them to keep the icing from messing up anymore, however I did need these for a party. Overall I was satisfied, but I think the cupcakes would have been better if they were stored properly before I picked them up. My guest seemed to have enjoyed them anyway. I will go back, but next time I will be specific and tell them to keep them in the cooler, until I arrive.

MY REVIEW: Had triple chocolate cheesecake on first visit and a Bunny Boo cupcake on second visit. Both were fantastic! Worth every calorie! If we weren't trying to watch our weight most of the time we'd be here every week!

MY REVIEW: I have stopped by Ooh La La several times over the past few years and have been very disappointed in the cupcakes. They are very nicely decorated and pretty and extremely dry. Why did I keep going back? Mainly because they were so pretty and I thought maybe I just got an old one. I liked the icing.
Then I recieved a gift certificate. I ordered a chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream icing for my son's birthday. It was the best chocolate cake I've ever had! The icing was great, not too sweet. I have come to the conclusion, that ordereing the cakes in advance is the solution. The owner really needs to keep track of how long the cupcakes are being kept. I will be back, but only if I order fresh products. I have also tried the cheesecake, which was also ordered. It was very good!

MY REVIEW: I've been here several times now and in general been quite happy, though as with any place there are some hits and some misses.
Here's my "grades" of the various things I've tried:
Triple Chocolate Cheesecake: A+ (I would come here for this even if that is all they served. It is FABULOSO!)
Brownie cake with cherry mousse: A (I was worried the mousse would be overpowering but it was light and delightful)
German chocolate cake: A
Chocolate cupcake with raspberry filling: B (the frosting is too sweet and overpowering, the cupcake part is fine though)
Strawberry cupcake truffle: C (this one just didn't do it for me)
My sister wasn't enthralled with the Boston Cream Pie cupcake but I didn't try it.
I think I've had some cookies that were good but since I can't remember which ones I won't say. I am looking forward to the Park Row location since it is so much closer, but we do drive to Grand Parkway just to get dessert here sometimes.
One note - go early on busy nights or you might not have as good a selection. Last time I went they were out of many types of cupcake and my honey's favorite German chocolate cake.

MY REVIEW: I like most of their stuff, but even if something else strikes your fancy at the time, get the chocolate chewy cookie. I'm not kidding. It's unbelievable. I got one on a whim on Tuesday and had to make a special trip back on Saturday. They have many other tasty treats in a really cute atmosphere, but get the chocolate chewy cookie. And something else. Go ahead. You deserve it!

MY REVIEW: I have been here a few times to treat my daughter to "baby cupcakes". They are perfect for a small reward and tasty too! The regular size cupcakes are huge! I love that everything is fresh. I ordered a key lime pie and it was really good. The crust was fresh and none of that fake whipped topping!
