Profile Description: Since December 2007, Thyme Table café restaurant start serving "the taste of Province" on the corner of 11660 Westheimer Street, in downtown Houston. Conceived with the notion that a French restaurant doesn't have to be stuffy, snooty, or expensive. Thyme Table café offers a plate full. Price for a lunch entrée ranges from $4.5 to $12.5. Dinner entrées range from $4.5 to $21.5. Truffle Wild Mushroom soup and Rosemary Focaccia Bread will be served free with the order of 1 entrée.
MY REVIEW: Had heard good comments about place. They have a lunch special Mon-Fri for $6.99. Today was chicken or pork. I had the pork cutlet with horseradish, white rice and salad with sweet vinaigrette dressing. It was very good. The horseradish sauce was not strong, reminded me of A*rby's horesey sauce. Would have preferred real horseradish. Service was very very good. There were only 2 others tables occupied. I would say meal was not exciting, would not want to eat here day in and day out. Eating off menu looked a little pricey to me.

MY REVIEW: I went there with my husband and the food was absolutely AMAZING!
I tried their Tuna Tartar and Lack of Lamb with a glass of pinot noire wine with the recommendation of the waiter. It was very nice with the romantic music playing in the background with the diligent services of the waiter.
My husband had Grilled Hot Korean style Chicken Breast and he enjoyed the food very much too. Although it was our first time trying out Korean food, the food wasn't strange at all since the chef made the food fit to American's taste.
I'm planning on going back there with some of my friends to try out their other menues pretty soon!

MY REVIEW: I adore this Japanese/ European style. The Pork Loin Cutlet with horseradish sauce is absolutely recommended for the kids. My four year old boy loved it. (Mothers, if your kid is not a big eater, one dish is probably enough for you and your kid.) Being Korean, I thought the sound of combining Korean short ribs with a French sauce seemed peculiar, but the combination is incredible. The food is a bit pricy for dinner, ranging between $30-35 for two adults and a child, but this is a great place for an occasional visit. Nice music, nice place, nice people, delicious food.

MY REVIEW: This recently opened restaurant was the high point of the New Year for my family. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a nicely lit French café with a few intimate corners for couples, and bench-style seating that lines the wall for families with kids. The menu is unique, offering an assortment of French, Italian, Japanese, and Korean style dishes. After having the mushroom soup, my wife had the Pork Loin Cutlet with a Philadelphia roll and I had the French Korean Short Ribs with a spicy tuna roll, all of which we shared with our three-year-old son. My short ribs were fantastic and the portion was very generous. The Japanese rolls were served with a nice salad. The chef, whom we presume is the owner, obviously loves to cook and takes food seriously. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We’ll be back to try the Tuna steak and Korean Bul Go Gi. Overall, our dinner there was a great way to spend the New Year. Simply terrific food!

MY REVIEW: Went once, newly opened place and we wanted to try something new. Very nice waiter, small menu but very good food. We started with a spectacular tuna tartare and mushroom soup. The mushroom soup was delicious, as were the entres. My husband had the filet mignon, it was coocked perfectly and came with nice sides. My salmon was also very nice, although I would have liked it cooked slightly less. All in all a nice experience for a good price, we'll be back.

MY REVIEW: Gave the restaurant a try for lunch when we saw the "Now Open" sign. A nice escape from the office - very clean with soft bossa nova background music (Lisa Ono). The food was fabulous. On my first visit I had the chicken & avocado sandwich which was declicious and big enough to take half home. Second time I had the Grilled Hot Korean Chicken Breast which was perfectly piquant and served with fingerling potatoes and asparagus wrapped in bacon - scrumptious! The service was impeccable and attentive without being overbearing. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.

MY REVIEW: Just stopped in as the restaurant look newly open.
Restaurant decoration look nice with dominant yellowish color and high ceiling with bright black. On the wall big mediteranean landscape painting was impressive to sharpen my appetite.
The menu shows Fusion French with asian touch and I ordered Filet Mignon and my wife ordered chicken breast.
Filet Mignon was very soft and tendered like "melt in the mouth" with exquisite flavor. Chicken breast was a bit hot to me but still yummy and you may like it if you enjoy hot and spicy dishes.
Service was excellent and I can have free Truffle wild mushroom soup and Rosemary Focaccia bread.
The price range was wide enough to choose entree from $10s to $20s.
I will probably go back to taste another dishes.
