MY REVIEW: We went for dinner on thursday night. Food was ok. Prices were expensive. The main dishes only come with a small bowl of rice. If you need nan/roti, there is an extra cost for it. They also charge for other items like onions/pickles which are complimentary at all other indian restaurants.
Our bill for 2 people was around $55. For the price they charge for the dishes, they should not be charging for any of the other stuff like onions/pickles. Portions are small too. Will not go back for dinner again.

MY REVIEW: Ambiance is great, even though it is in the heart of "Little India" area. The service is also good. But the food is not as good as other places in Houston. They charge for even small items like cut onions, pickles, etc., let alone for naan, paratha (bread) and rice. Nothing is complimentary. For the food they serve and location, they are priced too high. Consider other places like K*iran's, B*ombay Brasseri (Village area), if you are willing to spend so much on Indian food.

MY REVIEW: Awesome food and excellent service. I think this restaurant will give K*iran's and I*ndica a run for the money. We ordered Dalche Gosht and Baigara Baigan with Roomali rotis and it was simply awesome. I wanna go back for more. Ambience is excellent. I disagree with the last review saying that this was not authentic Indian food...in fact they have done a marvellous job! Highly recommended.

MY REVIEW: Decor is nice. But thats about it. Thats the only thing 'fine' about this restaurant.
The dishes are far from being authentic. They tend to serve many dishes with the same curry, even the ones that have nothing in common. Breads are usually served half done.
Not recommended for people with even a little experience with decent Indian food. You will be dis-appointed. There are better places around town in Rice village and Richmond ave.

MY REVIEW: I had been to the restaurant for a few times now; may be 10-11 times. But it's only during the buffet. The food is good and the service is quick. They bring Naans on the table and that's real fresh. I equally liked the service of the restaurent. By the time you enter into this restaurant, you will know that you are in the safe hand of a smiling server. At least, he impresses my family very time we are there.
The environment is friendly and it's with indian touch.
Yes, it's expensive than few other indian restaurent but that's y it is 'fine dinning'.
I recomment it to every one. Give a try. And crudos to the mgmt for bringing an Indian restaurant of such high standard to this little india.

MY REVIEW: The food has always been excellent. Service staff is always friendly and cooperative. Kids kababs were a little spicy, and were promply replaced. Single malt and scotch selections are good and not overpriced. It is an upscale establishment, and one should expect to pay more. The question is how much more. Don't know if Hillcroft and Harwin, Little India, will support the surcharge when there are so many other cheaper places. But, the quality of food and cleanliness is important, and Khazzane does maintain a higher standard.
My wife and kids love the place, so we'll continue coming. The owners always walk the floor, so be sure to snag them if you have a comment. BTW, I was never charged for a carry out box. But, we don't come for the buffet, so maybe that's why they refused a carry out box to some. Strange.

MY REVIEW: I have tried Khazzane 4 times (dinner) so far.
Strong points: Excellent ambiance & soothing atmosphere
Weak points: A bit expensive (but my wife loves it!)
Specialities: Mutton Vindaloo & Malai Kofta
Attraction: Live music during weekends
Today I am going to try the buffet. Hope it proves to be good!

MY REVIEW: The ambience was real nice. Food was really good and tasty. They bought hot nan, rotis & kulchas to the table. we had gone for the lunch buffet. will go again for sure.
1 thing that we noticed was they charge for a to-go box. That is weird. so, what do you do if you have leftovers from dinner as that is a-la-carte? Bring your own box, just waste the leftover food or finish up all the food. That would be the only thing that i would change about this place..

MY REVIEW: First of I'd like to say that khazzane has nice ambience. The lunch menu (both veg & non veg) was okay too. Just don't ask for a to go box as they charge you for that!!!! I had gone there with some of my non desi friends and believe me this did not set a good impression on them.

MY REVIEW: I had lunch at Khazzane with 3 friends. It is very different from our usual Indian buffet lunch restaurants. They serve a different lunch each day; you can order the vegetarian meal or the non-veg meal and that is about it. The food is very good, but you get what they cooked that day. No choice. Not that we minded.
The restaurant is very attractive and the service was attentive. The owner came out and chatted with us, explaining the difference in Indian home meals and restaurant food. He gave us all copies of the evening menu which is extensive and varied. It would be a great place for dinner. Live music and dancing are presented some evenings.
We all want to go back to Khazzane and, lunch being the best time for us, we will be sure to go on a different day. Beautiful restaurant, good food, good service, and reasonable prices. What more do you need?

MY REVIEW: An Indian restuarant that is truly different, starting with the ambiance. A very elegant and tasteful decor, spacious and well designed. The food, while mainly northern indian, has a distinctly different flavor which is a very pleasant change from the usual indian curry's. They have a nice wine list and a full bar serving top notch whiskey's in appropriate fine crystal. Our only negative was the live music - waaaaay too loud with extremely annoying electronic feedback and seemingly unending. Turn him down and lose the non-indian staff or atleast teach them proper pronunciations for the dishes.
I believe this place will give the leading indian establishments a run for their money.
