MY REVIEW: We ordered to go. Should have called order in but it was worth the wait and we were able to see all the ambiance on the walls. Several of us ordered the Reuben which was delicious and quite large. The onion rings were good and crispy but the fries were soggy. We enjoyed visiting with the staff and will go back again. Read all the review the local Leader Newspaper. Word of mouth is spreading in our nearby subdivision.

MY REVIEW: Best sliders in town, very attentive staff, great onion rings (OK fries) and best brewed ice tea in town. Great value, fun setting. I love taking first timers there. Shakes are great too!

MY REVIEW: Food is consistently good and owners are friendly. gotta be one of THE BEST burgers in Houston. Coupons in the local, NW paper. Small place, but there is a patio and tables outside. Jalapeno mustard and many, many hot sauces available to add there. Large menu of hot sandwiches, sliders, wings, salads also. French fries taste and look fab, but are softer type -vs- crisp type. Onion rings, tater tots, chips are the criper choice. Very good home-style burger .... oh, yes.

MY REVIEW: I was out there recently to take advantage of the LBBB's 50% of the day's proceeds contribution to the local AIDS Foundation. While I got my usual sliders and tots, I also got a brownie. The brownies might be even better than the sliders and burgers! WOW! Probably not as amazing as the brownies at B*arnaby's but they're NOT $5 either!

MY REVIEW: Strong points:
- Owner was on-site and working hard for all the guests. I really like a place where the owner is present and making sure everything is right.
- Onion rings were great
- Grilled cheese was crispy on the outside (probably slathered with butter!), just the way I like it
- Inexpensive

Weak points:
- A bit slow, but I can accept that for freshly prepared food
- Small dining room (we had to wait for a table)
- No veggie burgers. Come on guys, put a few Boca burgers in the freezer to pull out for us veggies!

MY REVIEW: The sliders are one of the best in Houston. It was cooked medium to perfection and the rolls are soft and just right. The onions are savory and isn't very overbearing. The fries are definately not a strong point...I should have gotten the onion rings. I would definately return for some more sliders. I just had some, and are craving some more.

MY REVIEW: Our first visit followed the review in the Houston Chronicle. I was "reminded" to go again after reading Robb Walsh's review in the Houston Press last week. First time, we hauled a bunch of kids along and we were able to sample the chicken wings (SPICY!) the fried chicken strips (superior according to our 10 and 13 year olds and one of their buddies who tagged along. My wife got the patty melt (excellent) and I went with the double cheese burger. While there are things like salads and grilled chicken sandwiches on the menu, I would catagorize LBBB as "full contact" without question!

On my most recent visit, several buddies and I tried out the grilled chicken sandwish (comparible to S*outhwell's), onion ring (very good) and a burger. I went with the sliders and they were great! Probably not quite what you would get at W*hite Castle but the closest one I know of is by the St. Louis airport so there's no reason to compare them!

All in all, superior burgers, extremely attentive service and a decent value.

MY REVIEW: After seeing everyone else's reviews of this place, I just had to drive up from the west suburbs to see what the hoopla was all about. I'm glad I did, because this is a great burger place.

I had the half pound bacon cheeseburger, rings and a drink, and my friend (Ms. Food Guy to you) had the basic burger combo with fries and a drink. The burger was really good - the bacon was very crispy, the burger patties had some nice carmelized crust on them (while being moist without being greasy), and all it needed was some Gulden's mustard (on each table in the place) to make it perfect. The onion rings were incredible - a nice heavy batter, crispy outside but the onion inside almost melted when you bit into them. LBBB has some excellent rings. MBG savored her fries, to the point that she finished the burger first, and took her sweet time with the fries. They are as good as Allison Cook of the Chronicle said they were.

I was really hungry, so I also ordered 4 of their sliders. The slider buns are buttered and grilled, and the onions are grilled. These are great sliders, with a taste very different than the burgers. I guess I could have tried to tackle their Big A*s burger, and try to get my picture on their wall and web site, but I'm glad I didn't. Maybe another time...

It's a nice place, lots of atmosphere and good food. While we were there, there were a LOT of people coming in, and there was very little room inside the double-wide. I'll be back, and I hope you go there too!

MY REVIEW: I drove up from Pearland just to eat the Big A*s Burger. It was awesome. Over a pound of meat, cheese, bacon and dripping with BBQ sauce. MMMMmmmm! If you eat the burger and the fries your picture goes up on the wall and the website. I ate the whole thing and I will be back for more. My buddy had a double bacon cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. It looked good. He confimed that it tasted as good as it looked. My daughter had the grilled cheese and tater tots. I ate most of that as well and it too was good. The people are very friendly, the building is little bitty but cozy and they have quite a menu and I will be back for more!!

MY REVIEW: Went there last night and was pleasantly surprised. I had the french dip, which had a generous amount of meat, good bread, and the au jus wasn't terribly salty, like most places. Tator tots came with that, cooked to a crispy bite. My husband had wings, and I have to say these were the largest wings I have ever seen. He gets the flats (flappers) only, which they agreed to, and they were so plump and juicy, it puts others to shame. Now he wanted lemon pepper combined with garlic, and when it came out it tasted more like the frank's sauce than either of the other flavors, but they were still very good. As nice as the people were I am sure if he explains what he means they can accommodate him. I also got an order of sliders to go, which I will have for lunch. There is so much more on the menu than the website leads you to believe, and there are daily specials, but I forgot to ask. Looking forward to returning soon!

MY REVIEW: When I saw the mention on the front page of b4-u-eat about this new place I knew I had to try it in hopes the name implied they served sliders. Sliders are kind of a mini-obsession with me and they’re very rare on Houston menus. The place does serve sliders, although they claim that’s not why it’s called the Little Bitty Burger Barn; there are lots of other items on the menu and actually sliders are kind of hidden. The buns for their sliders (mini-hamburgers) are buttered and grilled rather than steamed and the onions are grilled. They’re not the best I’ve ever had but the best in a long time and don’t even mention that national chain on 1960 or the ones you can get in the freezer section at the grocery - no way.

Another speciality on the menu that is very rare in Houston is a pork tenderloin sandwich which is a chicken fried section of pork tenderloin. They do a pretty good job with this one too and now that Heights C*amphouse BBQ is closed, it may be the only one in town. I’m a native Texan but I think the Hoosier-style chicken fried pork tenderloin sandwich is far better than a chicken fried steak sandwich and I’m glad to have this place to replace the other one. The guys running the place have been very friendly and the place - which looks suspiciously like a double-wide - is very neat although very tiny.
