MY REVIEW: Love the hibachi. The price tag is cheap if you think about what exactly you are getting. Amazing fried rice, very nice wait staff. Be prepared to eat if you order the chicken and steak hibachi. Everything is fresh and tasty. They cook to order...especially if you have a shell fish allergy like me. The white sauce is to die for! I have started taking my friends with me when I decide to go and they love it as much as I do.

MY REVIEW: This place is horrible! We made reservations for 8pm on Halloween night and when we showed up 5 till 8 we were told it was closed. The entire staff was sitting there at the bar. When we told them we had called and made reservations earlier that day, we were rudley told we were "misinformed". To top it all of, the girl speaking to me didn't even get her butt off the barstool to come and speak to me. Instead she sat and spoke across the resturaunt to me. When I addressed that the sign on the door says they are open till 9pm she said "Yeahhh... thats old. No one changed it because we're kinda lazy around here...". So not only did they ruin my BIRTHDAY dinner reservation, but they were rude. 10 of us were there standing, and 13 more people were en route to the place. I have been here a few times and hated the service, but I was swayed to go by 6 of my friends saying they really like that place. However, none of us will ever step foot in that place again. We all live around the area and about 6-8 of my friends frequent that place on a monthly basis. Now, like I said, none of the 23 people in my party will ever go there again. It was ridiculous.

MY REVIEW: HORRIBLE SERVICE. We won't be going back any time soon, if ever. The first time was amazing(valentines night). We were served and waited on by prob. The manager b/c our food came out fast, great service and didn't have to ask for anything!

The past 3 times we went were either lunch (hibatchi side) or 5 pm dinner. Very bad hibatchi show, and this past time was the worst (justin) I only know his name b/c it was on the ticket. Waited forever to be seated, order drinks, get them, get our appitizers and sushi roll. No plates. The wait staff dissappeared. We got the check and charged us for fried rice even after we told him NO THANKYOU. Had to get the hostess to get us an extra plate and fork. Drink refills non existant.

When your check ends up hitting close to $100 for two and a toddler, I would expect better service!!

MY REVIEW: Awesome place!!! Everybody's review probably came at the bad time or they're just too picky, I never once had a bad service nor the food was bad. Everything was great, Best restaurant in Town bc I had my birthday here two years! And couldn't ask for anything better! The Hibachi Steak is a MUST upgrade it to the Filet Mignon absolute "bobby flay style" haha :) They also have a new appetizer called the "Party Starters" which a must TRY!

The one thing I really Love is I can make ANY sushi roll I want and they will make it for me and will be Named after me :) that's a PLUS!

Best Hibachi around Cypress! It's not like its in midtown or anything either.

MY REVIEW: It's a reasonably good place, but not outstanding. The sushi is very good, and there are numerous items and appetizers that I love. The cooked dishes are average. The habachi is entertaining. Is it me? - - I find that most of the chicken and beef that I get at any sushi/steakhouse is average and/or dry. I also find the service spotty. Sometimes great, sometimes not quite par. However, in all fairness, my wife loves the place.

MY REVIEW: We sat at the sushi bar recently. We had to ASK for soy sauce, plates, chopsticks, because these had not been provided to us. When the customers are carrying their own plates back to their seats, as if it was a cafeteria, in a place where the bill can be $25 per person easily, then something is very, very wrong. This is not the first time this has happened to us.

The very young, very inexperienced staff members were too busy socializing amongst themselves to take notice of the needs of mere customers.

Do yourself a favor - go to the sushi restaurant up at 290 and Barker-Cypress, in the same mall as Randalls grocery store. You will be treated far better there.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I just moved to the area and this is the closest sushi place we saw. This place is absolutly wonderful. The sushi is fresh and tasty and the waiter was awesome. Since it was our first time there he brought our little boy some free ice cream. Great service, great food, and a live band! We will be back for sure!

MY REVIEW: We have been a weekly customer at this restaurant for almost a year now. The food is consistently excellent, and we have never had bad service. I think the previous poster just caught them at a bad time. We have found the wait staff to be very good, and the guy who manages the place always takes the time to make sure all is perfect. I also enjoy the live entertainment on weekends - especially the handsome Latin guitarist !!!! The atmosphere is great for a weekend night out, when you're in the mood for more than just Dinner! After about 8pm it feels more like a Bar. Great Place !!! Going tonight !!!

MY REVIEW: Food is consistently good to very good. The hibachi-side "show" is marginal but the kids enjoy it.

HOWEVER... the last couple of times we visited were not during heavy patronage times. For instance, this Sunday & late afternoon. The wait-staff and bus-boys were minimal to non-existant. Three tables in the hibachi room were dirty with left-over plates and stayed that way through our entire meal. The floors are slippery to a point of being dangerous which suggests they aren't cleaned as they need to be (I've noticed that the last 3 times). In fact, one couple actually lost their footing while being seated. Table-side chefs are not consistent. The fried rice may or may not be moist. Sometimes it has a few vegatables in it - sometimes not. Today's chef started cooking the vegatables first (correct) but more often than not, they start the meat and poultry first. Our grill remained cold while we waited for drinks and placed our food order. It wasn't until the chef came out that the wait staff were reminded by the chef that the grill didn't work. He eventually got it working but it takes a long time to warm up. For an average of $30/pp, I'd expect a more consistent experience (it was great when it opened).

MY REVIEW: Best sushi in Copperfield area, hands down and the hibachi is excellent too. The have a great lunch menu and it is always packed on Friday and Saturday nights. It is clean and the servers are very friendly. When it openend they had a few kinks but the staff has improved 100% overall. I would highly recommend it and do to just about everyone.

MY REVIEW: Great Place to Eat. The Habachi and atmosphere is AWESOME.

Food is great for taking family and special occasions. Enjoy the service and fresh Japanese and seafood made right in front of you. The kids loved the Habachi table and had fun. Check out this Habachi chef working with his tools.

There is a nice fiery atmosphere that makes unsuspecting kids jump and laugh and enjoy...

MY REVIEW: I've never had a bad meal at this restaurant. I've lived in Okinawa Japan for eight years and this place actually reminds me of food that I had there. I've read the complaints about service being slow. What I have to say about that is, that, food may be a little slow but everything tastes like it really is made to order there, not just line cooks. The scallops happen to be my favourite. Everytime I've had them, they are just as sweet as crab. The decor it nicely understated.

I've had my kids there for the Hibachi, and I've never had any complaints about the showmanship. You get plenty of food for the price and I have to highly recommend the gyoza.

The only complaint that I have is the past Saturday when my husband and I went, was the music. Spanish jazz just does nothing to add to the atmosphere of a Japanese restaurant. It got to a point that, I just wanted to leave. I couldn't even talk to my husband across the table from me because the music was so loud. To top it off, when they paused in their playing, I could still hear the house music playing. I now know that I will never be back on a Saturday evening.

MY REVIEW: This is the BEST Japanese restaurant around! The sushi is great and the yakisoba noodles are so good! My extremely picky kids love the chicken yakisoba noodles and have actually made requests to eat at Sakura (which shocks me, because normally their only requests are for M*cDonald's)!

The atmosphere is nice. The whole family enjoys the live music. Wait staff has always been very nice and extremely helpful in ordering.

We have only done the hibachi once and probably won't do it again any time soon. The chef was so-so. Not very entertaining and seemed somewhat annoyed the whole time. I also thought it was odd that they started with meat and ended with vegies. I've been to hibachi's before that are really fun with really awesome food and this wasn't one of them. The food was good, but we've always had a much better experience just eating in the regular restaurant seating and ordering off the regular menu.

Overall, it's very, very good and I highly recomend it!
