But I went back and now think the beef cannot be beat. Also had a single serving of jambalaya that had so much chopped-up sausage that it was practically a meal itself. Man, this is good take-out. As long as Leo's is in business, I will gladly drive the 30 miles rather than buy supermarket sausage ever again. It's that good! MY REVIEW: Passed by this little take out place for years and always wondered about it. Finally stopped and what a find! Sampled gumbo, beef sausage wrap (both very, very good). But crawfish boudain was to die for. Took home a large link of homemade pork sausage. Already started eating on it; this place knows sausage! Will return next time in Galveston to take home and try other items such as red beans and rice, riblets, "regular" boudain and other items I can't remember. Hint: get there before lunch hour to avoid the crowds you are sure to encounter in their tiny waiting room.
