McClellan's Pub & Bistro

MY REVIEW: This place is awesome. I'll definitely be hanging out there more often. The beer selection is amazing and the food rocks. They have the best cheeseburgers I've had in a long time and who doesn't love fried okra? Very cool place.

MY REVIEW: Strong points: The beer selection is awesome. Phil, the bartender, is the most knowledgable person I know when it comes to beer, and Im pretty knowledgable on the subject. The fish n chips are the best in town, by far. Even if you dont drink, go get some fish n chips. There is a Nintendo Wii, shuffleboard and dart boards to play on. Golf is always on the tv. Hopefully soon they will start having the English Premier League on. It is home to the world's smallest pub. Thats right, just outside of the pub is another pub. It is definately a kid friendly enviroment, as well.

Weak points: They close at midnight. Not a good place to go to if you are looking for a crowd. (Which isnt a weak point for me, but my friends like huge crowds and waiting forever for a pint.) My biggest gripe about the place is that they wont let me hang a Manchester United flag in the pub. I think Phil is just mad because Man United knocked his team out of the Europe competition.

Overall: It is a great place to come to enjoy great beer and have an easy going time with some friends... and I cant stress the fish n chips enough. Also, every Wednesday is Quart Night. Buy a quart of beer at the same price of a pint.

MY REVIEW: We love McClellan's! Honestly I probably shouldn't be writing because I don't want everybody to find out about our little gem. But I do want them to do well. The owner's are soooooo nice and the beer selection is extensive. Phil actually pours a little clover in the foam of your Guiness.

MY REVIEW: McClellan's is a great place to hang out and be social. They have an amazing beer selection and Phil knows everything about each of them (I've learned a LOT!). While Americans consider a PUB a place for adults only, the atmosphere inside McClellan's easily lends itself for a place to bring the entire family for dinner. The food is good and FRESH. My family and I can easily say that their Black Angus Burger is the best in the area.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I love this place. They have a huge beer selection that is not normally served any where else. GREAT BEER AND FOOD SELECTION! We recommend this place to every one!!

MY REVIEW: Great place. Best beer selection in the area.

This is a place you go to to feel like you are at 'Cheers'. ;) You can actually sit at the bar and talk with the bartender about beer, because he actually knows about beer.

The owners wife is sweet as can be and is a heck of a cook, too!

The hospitality can't be beat at this place.....

MY REVIEW: Strong points: AMAZING BEER SELECTION; wonderful barkeep/owner; great atmosphere and decoration; quiet (Scottish) music that does require shouting for conversations; close golf course (right outside the door); ton of games and a Nintendo Wii!!!

Weak points: none so far.

Food: to be determined, I've only consumed beverages since finding this wonderful secret in Humble/Kingwood.

Easily the best bar with the most honest personality in Kingwood and Humble area.

Can't wait until they start playing EPL games on weekend mornings and serving banger and mash!
