MY REVIEW: Chef for You is a personal chef service that I have been using for probably five years. I usually order three or more meals a week. This past week they offered a Grilled Fresh Halibut with Lemon-Ginger Marinade with Cilantro that was to die for. I am also a huge fan of their Quinoa Mango Salad and their weekly wraps make a super lunch. The food is always so fresh and since I order from the SPA menu so it is healthy to boot.

MY REVIEW: It seemed important to me to try to tell others about our experience with Marcie and one of her chefs, Carla, when we sought their help for two very important dinners we held in our home here in Richmond, Texas. These dinners were given by us to say "thank you" to the wonderful people who help us with the foundation my husband and I have formed in memory of our son. Our son was killed in action while serving as a brave combat soldier in Iraq. These dinners were our gift to them. We were looking for a catering service to be understanding and to take the time with us to make our dinners very special. We needed a caterer who would recognize how important these dinners were to us. Marcie's company was recommended to us by one of my husband's colleagues, so I gave her a call. From the very first, we could tell that Marcie at "Chef for You" was going to be understanding of our need to make our events very special for all concerned. And she, as well as Carla did just that. We received expert advice on what to serve; and we were able to select from the extensive menu the items that would work best for our guests. Marcie listened carefully and then offered recommendations on the presentation-needs for a gathering like ours! At the appropriate timing in the hours preceding our dinners, Carla came to our home with everything in hand, and easily managed to turn our kitchen/family room into a beautifully arranged buffet with everything our guests would need. We decided on two types of lasagna (meat and also vegetable), with a fresh salad with greens, cranberries, and walnuts. There was also garlic bread. And we had a myriad of desserts on platters from little Italian cream cakes, mini-cheese cakes topped with fresh raspberries, brownies, macadamia-nut chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, as well as red velvet cake bites. Everything was very fresh and really delicious. Carla finished the final baking of the lasagnas in my kitchen, so the house smelled wonderful as our guests arrived! Since Marcie and Carla are able to keep things so organized and calm, I was able to circulate with my guests and enjoy the dinners as I was kept free of worrying about any duties in the kitchen. It is also wonderful indeed to receive compliments on the delicious food and the presentation of the dinner, when I did not do anything at all! Everything was handled by Carla, who treated all of our guests with the utmost professional courtesy! So you can see that our choice will always be "Chef for You" when it comes to future dinners we will have in our home so that our guests will look forward to an enjoyable, relaxed, and delicious dinner that will always be a memory-maker! Thank you, Marcie and Carla!

MY REVIEW: We have enjoyed Chef for You Spa Menus for several years and have always been pleased with the healthy and flavorful menu items prepared with quality food. Last week Chef for You prepared food for a family celebration and here is the review I sent to Marcie.
The Asian beef with brown rice preparation was delicious and received rave reviews from everyone – as well as the green beans and desserts. Your name was the most popular throughout the evening. I have now become dependent on your top quality services.

MY REVIEW: My first try at Chef For You was a success, to say the least! My husband went to pick up the Easter brunch entree and side dish: Lemon-Blueberry Stuffed French Toast, and Apricot Rosemary Sausage Links.....Need I say more. The minute he came back home, he was raving about the delicious aroma in the shop, the amazing array of items to just pick up, the courtesy of the owner, and the NEED to visit again. That was before we even ate. We had 8 for brunch. The serving sizes were generous, and they were met with RAVE REVIEWS from our guests. Do yourself a favor and try Chef For You. I will be back!

MY REVIEW: Busy families will appreciate the simplicity of preparing the meals in your home that compare to upscale restaurants. I am always impressed with the variety of choices each week. For a little more than I would spend at the grocery store, I can provide great meals and avoid the messy kitchen. I like the fact that all I have to do is ask for my favorite dishes and they appear on the menue. Try one meal and you will be hooked on good eats.

MY REVIEW: Fabulous food at a great price for busy people. We stock up on Marcie's "Frozen Assets" and have great meals at home without having to cook. Last year I ordered our Thanksgiving meal from her, and I swear I will never cook another Thanksgiving meal. Portions are very generous. If you order meals for two people, expect enough leftovers for a third serving.

MY REVIEW: My family and I have tried so many wonderful things since I found Chef For You. It is so nice to be "cooking" without the hassle of deciding what to prepare, going to the grocery store and then cooking and cleaning! Thank you Marcie and staff.

MY REVIEW: We had the salmon in dill sauce last week and both my husband and I thought it was the best salmon dinner we have ever had !! We have ordered salmon in restaurants that is good and cooked salmon at home that is great but yours was definitely best – it had a great flavor.

MY REVIEW: The beef Wellington was perfect. We cooked it about 22 minutes and it was medium rare just the way everyone liked it. The asparagus bundles were delicious and so attractive. Everything else was great too - the potatoes, the cookies and, of course the cake. The rest I am sure will be just as good.
Thank you for providing my daughter with such a great birthday dinner.
