MY REVIEW: Not my first time eating at Lucky's Pub, but will be be last. I arrived at Lucky's Pub at 12:15 PM to eat lunch with my husband. Our order was taken at 12:23PM, at 12:40 PM we still had not food. I have order at Lucky's before but they were call in orders and had not one problem the food was great. But I will not go there again. I am also response for find place for our monthly birthday club to eat and this is the reason I choose to try eating at Lucky's...BIG MISTAKE; it will never happen again. I will not suggest this place to anyone.

MY REVIEW: Not bad at all this time. The first time I visited Lucky's was in November or December, and I remember the pasta wasn't good. This time I ordered a grilled chicken caesar salad, waffle fries (YUM! like J*ack in the Box curly fries, but not as greasy), and a long island iced tea (made just right).
Note they have crawfish for $5.95/lb (there's another price if you buy more, but can't remember it). It's a bit expensive, but the spices were really good, since a hostess came by our table of 10+ with samples. Also note there were no problems whatsoever with separating 10+ tabs. Will most likely go again in the future.

MY REVIEW: We went there to kill some time waiting for my daughter finish a concert next door at Warehouse Live had beers only. Lively place--lots of people but not too crowded even though there was a live local band performing.
Only thing that turned me off was when I went to the bar to buy two draft beers which totaled $7.50, the only bill I had was a hundred, which I handed over and the bartender counted out the bills as he took my change from the register but then quickly handed to me in a wad and then he turned and walked around and darted out of my view. As a habit, I counted my change and it was 82.50, instead of 92.50 so I just stood there with the bills in my hand and when he returned he did not look suprised to see me still there and I said "you own me $10" and he replied immediately "yeah, I sure do" and promptly removed the ten from the register. I know this is purposely done in a lot of bars because many people are drunk or just not paying attention but it didn't set well with me even though he did cooperate when I pointed out his "error".
Its the only bar I noticed that was right there---next closest seemed to be over across from the ballpark.

MY REVIEW: Decided to check out Lucky's during the Texas/Texas Tech game. Good crowd, but Lucky's absolutely dropped the ball. I was only there for a few hours before I had enough of their antics. They only had 2 sometimes 3 bartenders in a room of around 100+. The waitresses refused to take my food order (told to order at the bar, one told me she was overwhelmed, the other told me she would be by shortly). My first attempt to order food was at 7:15pm. Bar lady told me to order with waitress, waitress told me to order at the bar. It was an absolute circus. Totally understaffed for the game. People next to us finally got a pizza, but it was cold. Sure, Lucky;s could be a great place, as long as it is not during a big game....so like on a Tuesday afternoon. I left at 9:00pm hungry...never to return.

MY REVIEW: Nice place tucked away on the east side of 59 just a short walk from Minute Maid Park. Got there a little after noon, on a Monday (opening day for the Astros) and there were only a handful of people there. As the afternoon progressed though, people started filing in. With as huge as this place is though, it never felt crowded. There are two huge rooms on each side of the main bar. The chairs are very comfortable. TV's all around, including a giant screen projection TV that I could have done without. Very hard to see.
The food was excellent and the service even better. I had the Lucky Burger. Big thick piece of meat cooked the way I wanted it. Excellent burger. The big thick onion rings were great. My friend had pizza and said it was excellent. We also had the cheesesteak egg rolls and I'll definitely be ordering those again.
Lucky's Pub goes on my recommended list, no doubt. And no, I don't work there or know anybody who does.

MY REVIEW: I live and work in the area and had only been for drinks. The wife and I split a pizza there for lunch and were blown away. Granted, I've only eaten here once, but the pizza I had is the best I've tasted in the entire city. Ours had tomato, artichokes, and basil on it (we asked them to hold the red onions). There were only two parties in the whole place, so the employees could sit relax and chat with us form the bar. It's a matter of time before this place becomes a hit with the lunch crowd.

MY REVIEW: Lucky's Pub is only getting better. They just added added pizza and it is the bomb (Got to try the Smoked Chicken). As for appetizers, go with the Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. You have to check out the daily Happy Hour. Beer prices very reasonable. Staff very friendly. Just blocks from Minute Maid so I can 't wait for the 'Stros to start.

MY REVIEW: Much better food than you will find at any other bar. Burgers are made to order (not the frozen, pre-formed patties) and are served on an awesome ciabatta bread. I also highly recommend the buffalo wings and the buffalo chicken sandwich (also served on ciabatta). They have a wide variety on their menu, including several salads (raspberry chicken being one), fish tacos, meatball subs, etc. Again, not just your typical bar food. I haven't had one thing that wasn't tasty, but I will keep trying everything on the menu!
The atmosphere is also great. Nothing beats cold beer, great food, and watching your favorite team on the 20 foot projection screen! I'm having a craving for some of those cheesesteak eggrolls as I type...
