The food has always been consistent and very flavorful, and the margaritas are some of the best. They have great hot sauce which is always fresh. We have also enjoyed the patio, since the weather has been cooler. We tried thier breakfast for the first time this weekend and it was delcious. That is what compelled me to write this review. MY REVIEW: This place by far has the BEST Mexican food in the area. We go at lest twice a week and it is always very good. Another pro about this restaurant is the owners are always there to greet you and make sure everything is to your liking. If you havent gone you should go, you will be glad you did. They were extremely busy and there was a wait of about 30 minutes. After being seated the chips and salsa came promptly and were very good. The margaritas that we ordered hit the spot. After being without electricity for several days it was great to have a frozen margarita. The menu is extensive but we decided to just try the basic cheese and beef enchiladas. They were DELICIOUS!! the service was a little slow but we understood seeing they were packed. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food. We have gone four times since last week, and the service was much better. We will probably go back tonight. When I try a Mexican restaurant for the first time I always order a combination plate to sample a variety of Tex-Mex items. UNREMARKABLE! Taco, tamale and rice were just ok, nothing above average. Beef enchilada and refried beans were well below average. As I read previous reviews, it's apparent they do a good job with fajitas, snapper and ribs. That's great, but I expect a Mexican restaurant to turn out good Tex-Mex as well. Combo plate was overpriced considering you only get one enchilada instead of the customery two. I asked for chopped onions on top. Didn't get them (and I was the only customer so it's not like the waiter was distracted with other patrons). Hot sauce was good and spicy, but served in a tiny bowl. There was never an offer to refill my empty bowl. I was in a hurry so I asked the server to bring my check, which he did promtly, but then disappeared for too long before coming back to process my credit card. Too many good places locally that serve good 'ol Tex-Mex to give this place a second visit. I suppose it might be worth it to try the fish, etc., but I lose respect for any Mexican joint that can't produce a good enchilada. We loved everthing we ordered from the My Amigos appetizer to the beef fajitas and shrimp brochette. Our waiter Ben was very attentive and polite. While we were having dinner the owner stopped by to make sure everything was alright, this was a great personal touch.
