MY REVIEW: What an incredible restaurant. Since moving to Houston a little less than a year ago, I have made it my mission to try out just about every restaurant this city has to offer. All in all, La Carreta is my top choice. Not only do I eat there daily, but I stop by for great conversation with the wonderful owners and staff, and to run into the many other regulars who frequent the restaurant.

Authenticity, freshness and flavor are the key words when considering the food at La Carreta Asadero. These tacos (along with every other menu item, including great flautas, tortas, and frijoles charros) will hook you from your very first bite - with or without their homemade salsas. Desserts (postres/pasteles) are also made on site, and it's clear that everything at La Carreta Asadero is not only made with care, but incredible pride.

Clean, beautiful atmosphere, with great food and great friends. It's my favorite place in town.

MY REVIEW: Great Place. The Tortas, beef and pork tacos are very fresh. They also have Orange Crush and Mexican Cokes. We eat there at least once a week for lunch at work. The prices are good and the service is fast.

MY REVIEW: Great food. Love the new location and most of all the relaxed ambiance. Been going there for about 2 years and the food is always good. Meet both of the owners and they are very friendly. I would highly recommend this place due to the food is 100 authenic.

MY REVIEW: Tried this place for the first time on Saturday November 10th and it happened to be their grand opening of their new place. They were in a small trailer just down the street. Never tried it but saw all the cars there and decided to try it out. The food was great. Nice variety on the menu and the taste is very Mexico. I undertand that this is a hot spot and very well known through out the community. They have also had several news worthy people come by as well as a couple of Spanish television stations in town. I will definately be going back. Friendly staff, great food and location.

MY REVIEW: Have been eating at La Carreta Asadero for 7 years. The food is excellent. Very authenic. The owners are very friendly and fast. Never has a problem with the food. They just recently opened an indoor restuarant and it is nice. The menu has grown to more items to choose from. I give them a 10.
