MY REVIEW: We usually like going to Ikea just to eat at their cafe upstairs.

They use to have this awsome chocolate mousse.

But yesterday we had something new Beef Nachos. I did eat the chips with the avocado and sour cream. The meat was very unusual it smelled/tasted like deer or lamb something gamey and the cheese was that liquid cheese.

We usually go for the meatballs and salmon which are always tasty.

We like the soft serve Ice cream there because it is light and airy not frozen with ice crystals.

MY REVIEW: We tried lunch there yesterday when a shopping trip took a little longer than we thought. It was a nice lunch. We ordered a daily special which consisted of a chopped meat and onion hash covered with a fried egg and parsley with a side of beet slices. It did have a name, but it was Scandinavian, and I don't remember what it was. That was very good, but the other dish we ordered was much better. We also ordered a 10 meatball lunch with mashed potatoes and gravy and a side of ligonberry preserves. They were so good that I'd go back to Ikea just for lunch even if I had no shopping to do. Both of those dishes, two bottles of water, and a cold jar of baby fruit (they also had meals and vegetables for babies) were under $12.

Downstairs, I bought a bag of frozen meatballs, an envelope to make the gravy, and a jar of ligonberry preserves so I can make them at home. Also, try the marshmellow treats that are covered with chocolate and shaved coconut. They are very tasty and the marshmellow is much different than Americans would expect.

The only downside was trying to carry trays of 2 meals, and push a baby carriage both when I bought the meals and when you put your tray away. But, I handled it and the inconvienence was definitely worth the food and the price!
