Piazza Cafe

MY REVIEW: This cafe has one of the best pastas and salads in town and they are priced reasonably too. The place is kept clean and the service is very good. The line is little long at lunch time but moves very fast. I don't mind waiting few minites in line because the food is definitely worth it.

MY REVIEW: I have been eating weekly at this establishment for 3 years now, don't know when it changed ownership, apparently it was transparent to me, I didn't notice a significant change. The staff is friendly, the service (through the line) is quick and everything I have tried there is good. Haven't had the pizza, too many other choices I guess plus I'm not a pizza finatic. The salads are my favorite - huge and delicious and priced reasonably.

MY REVIEW: I tried Piazza for the first time last week, so I can't vouch for how it *used* to be.. However, I was very impressed with *everything* I experienced.. From the variety/creativity of the menu, to the speed/friendliness of the staff, to the cleanliness/layout of the whole establishment. They definately understand their customers don't have a long time to stand around waiting in line, and do their best to keep everything moving along nicely. The chicken alfredo was delicious and well worth the price. The dessert (magic bar) was also pretty yummy. ;) Don't forget to try the bread/roll! :)

MY REVIEW: Piazza was once one of the few highlights for lunch in Greenspoint. The quality of food and sevice has greatly declined since the original owner sold and opened a new restaurant near Memorial in West Houston. It seems some of the menu items have changed and the service is somewhat lacking.Why can't a good thing stay the same?
