MY REVIEW: This place just keeps getting better. Me and my boyfriend made reservations for New Years and we had a great time. For what we paid, I felt it was a great deal. Having been there before, I could tell this may have been their busiest night. The place was jammed with people, but overall the service was good given the amount of people. Kudos to the owner for throwing a great new years celebration. The food, the party favors, the band. It was a terrific place in Galveston to have new years. We'll be back.

MY REVIEW: My date and I enjoyed our visit here and plan to return. Our waiter was very straight-forward with us about all the items on the menu, and steered us away from some items as they "were still perfecting" their preparation. We got 4 tapas and 2 drinks and walked out for less than $50 with tip. It was worth quite a bit more. The band when we were there was excellent and played us some dance tunes, too. I consider this place a keeper.

MY REVIEW: I come here quite a bit to where the owner and servers know what I'm drinking. This is a great place to meet up with friends and have fun without having to be in a loud & booming bar. Don't get me wrong, they get very busy on weekends, but its a different crowd that's not drunk and obnoxious. I love eating tapas style and one of the best things about this place is it serves quality food late. The wines are awesome and different. I love the ambiance and special touches. Girls check out the bathroom, they thought of everything.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I went for an early dinner before a play. The atmosphere is nice, dark, not a lot of tables and a nice bar that several people sat at. The band was setting up when we were leaving so we didn't get to hear them. The waiter was very nice but the service was very slow. We ordered several tapas at one time and they came out one at a time over the course of an hour. Most tapas restaurants we've been to before will bring out all that you order at one time, then if you want you can order more. The items we had were good, not the best we've had, but good. The prices seemed a little steep for the portion sizes, like 8.95 for 3 crab cakes the size of a silver dollar. But even still we did enjoy the place and think it would be fun to go again when we can stay for the band. We didn't have reservations and didn't need them for the time we went but I'd recommend them if you were going after 7:30 because there aren't a lot of tables.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I and my sister were in Galveston visiting for my birthday and were looking for a place to eat after visiting a few bars and stumbled on this place based on a suggestion from a bartender. We were told they served food late. Nice looking restaurant with a trendy kind of feel (from the pretty people dressed in black to the spanish menu) so i was a bit reluctant because we were definitely not dressed for it. It looked like they just cleared a bunch of people out so the tables were kind of messy. The good part of this was that we were seated right away. The waiter explained that the place was a spanish Tapas bar and suggested a couple of items to start. We tried them and loved it and ordered more. We drank the house specialty, Mojitos and loved it. The manager came by and struck up a conversation with us and talked a bit about Galveston and seemed knowledgeable about things to do and see. He was very gracious and charming and made us very comfortable. My sister thought he was quote "dreamy". After he found out about why we were in Galveston, we were treated to a large display of candles That was a nice touch and a good way to cap off the whole evening. We ended the night with the creme brulee and it too was very good. Overall, we really had a good time and next time we're in Galveston, this place will sure be on our list of places to go.
