MY REVIEW: I have to say that once I tried the chicken salad on 7-grain bread, I haven't tried anything else... I love it. My wife likes the chicken wraps, and we appreciate the baked chips instead of fried, and the fruit salad.

I hate the styrofoam boxes and plastic cutlery; there is no need for that. It cheapens the look and feel, and environmentally it is inexcusable.

MY REVIEW: Love the food there. This is something Greek families would throw together if they were trying to be healthy. The food is FRESH, restaurant CLEAN, and prices CHEAP.

Love it!!!!

MY REVIEW: Weak points: terrible tuna salad pita sandwich. The pita bread was cold, store-bought and it just came apart as I was trying to eat it. Worst of all, it was $6.45!!!!! Over-priced and under-quality. My wife and I almost took the disintegrating sandwich back to the retaurant for our money back (we didn't simply because we did not have time to do so - it was a 'take-out').

Ok (not great by a long-shot) chicken salad. We will never be going back. Truly a rip-off.

MY REVIEW: Agree with the previous poster- the reuben sandwich is fantastic. Also, love the mayoless potato salad - and I generally loathe potato salad. Good location for me, as it's pretty close to where I work. It's a bit high for fast food but it's fresh fast food.

MY REVIEW: Try the Gruben! I know this place advertises itself as healthy, but I don't know how healthy the Gruben is. My hands became very greasy holding this sandwich in my hands, but that's not a bad thing. This sandwich tasted damn good! It feels like it was made in a sandwich press (ala panini sandwich), so the grease may just come from the non-stick spray. My girlfriend had some sort of wrap that actually did taste healthier, but I'll stick with my Gruben.

MY REVIEW: Recently, I've read a number of positive reviews on Zoes and decided to give it a try. Frankly, I was pretty disappointed. The atmosphere is cold, industrial, and very brightly lit. I ordered the chicken kabobs which came with Greek salad and plain rice. The meal was served on a styrofoam plate with a flimsy, individually-wrapped fork and spoon, and a thin napkin (think elementary school cafeteria). I was given 3 squares of cold, store-bought pita bread as an accompaniment. The salad dressing was an unremarkable oil/vinegar blend served from a sticky squeeze bottles on the table. The chocolate cake was made with either a turbinado or brown sugar based frosting which was grainy in texture. The cake itself was acceptable. I asked the owner "why styrofoam and plastic service"?, and he said it was a "corporate decision" in keeping with the fast food theme. Fast food for $12 with counter service!? The kabobs were tasty, well-cooked, and served at the right temperature. The salad was fresh and crunchy. However, I won't be back. If you have a craving for good Mediterranean "fast food" go to F*adi's on Beechnut in Meyerland and get a hot meal on china plates with metal silverware and a basketful of steaming pita straight from the bread oven. And you'll spend at least 25% less than at Zoes.

MY REVIEW: Wonderful food and we'll be back! Both of us started with a cup of chicken soup with orzo. It needed just a touch of salt (as does most everything here) but it was warm and comforting. I then had the chicken salad sampler that had small portions of three additional salads. The slaw was fresh and flavorful with little bits of feta cheese, while the yummy pasta salad had a light tomato sauce with basil. The potato salad was a highlight, flavored with a hint of lemon. The only weak part was the chicken salad itself - bland and flavorless with the texture of tuna salad (I prefer a chunkier chicken salad). But the best thing, we both agreed, was the Gruben - a grilled turkey "Reuben" sandwich. It was so good that when I took a bite my friend noticed the look of rapture on my face. Just the right amount of seasoning and the turkey was moist and delicious. I love the bright springtime colors used in the decor, and the staff was very friendly. I will be back soon! (But the passion fruit green tea needs to be just a tad stronger...)

MY REVIEW: I was not impressed by the food here. The chicken was bland, the pita was store-bought, and the pasta salad was overcooked. I will not be returning.

MY REVIEW: Such a cute and fun place. We've been going there for lunch ever since it opened. The chicken salad is awesome, the kabobs are tasty (not dry), pitas are filled with great things, and the chocolate cake is yummy (and i dont even like chocolate). Staff is friendly and very helpful. Keep up the good work!

MY REVIEW: Thank you!! Finally a fresh, healthy option in this part of town. I've had the chicken salad for lunch and the kabobs for dinner and both were awesome. I'll be trying everything on the menu before I decide my usual. It's a must try.

MY REVIEW: I love this place! I had the chicken kabob dinner which had two kabobs, greek salad and rice pilaf with pita for 8.95. Everything was delicious. The chocolate sheet cake they make tastes like Mom made it. The Greek slaw is really good too. This place is reasonably priced and the portions are large. Quality food at a good value with healthy options.

MY REVIEW: Very impressed!! This is a really good little place. Very brightyly decorated, colorful, nice tables. I really liked the dinnig area. The men who greeted us were very friendly & helpful, explaining things about the menu. It is mostly sandwiches. I had a very good chicken salad sandwich & my friend raved over the Grueben-a reuben with a twist. We also had delcious potato salad & we got to sample their chocolate cake-which was great! Everything was so fresh. It was really a nice place. I cant wait to go back and try their pimento cheese! Price is good-about the same as every other place.

MY REVIEW: Strong points: Had a very good (and very huge) Greek salad with potato salad at the bottom. Odd concept but it worked. The two youngish managers were both very friendly and were providing free samples. Restaurant looks very clean. Can't wait to go back.

Weak points: Can't think of any.
