MY REVIEW: I am from New York and was visiting Houston this weekend. I happened to be in the downtown area and came upon Blu Monday Cafe. As I entered I was immediately greeted with a smile. The atmosphere was very calming with jazz tunes coming from the speakers. The menu has a variety of items from fried catfish & sweet potato fries to chicken & sausage pasta. The prices are very reasonsable they range from $7.95 to $9.95 for an entree. I ordered the Cobb Salad which was not a traditional cobb salad. This cobb salad consisted of fried crawfish & shrimp...mmmmm good!!! The salad was excellent. The service was stupendous! I will definetly visit Blu Monday Cafe again on my next visit to Houston. They also started a Mimosa Brunch on Sundays...can't wait to check that out!...2 thumbs up for Blu Monday Cafe...Good job!
