MY REVIEW: We eat there almost weekly, BUT NEVER AGAIN. The waiter took out order and never checked back with us, not even to refil a drink. He kept waiting on other tables around us and serving them their meals and never gave us eye contact. after 45 minutes we got the hostess/manager to the table and she made every excuse and even blamed the fish stating that what we ordered took a long time to grill.....bottom line they messed up, that can happen anywhere but how a restaurant handles it make all the difference. After we made them aware of our order it still took 20 mins to get our food. We were so mad by then we couldn't eat. they never offered to give any discount or even said they were sorry. the waiter never ever even came back to our table after he took our order. WILL NEVER EVER EAT THERE AGAIN....

MY REVIEW: Seafood is seasoned, hot, generous.

Another well known seafood place almost made me cry, whenever my platter of flounder was set before me. The flounder piece was so small, so tiny...and I... was so hungry. Never again go back there. Anyway my husband and I, my church friends, we all love the place. Everything is great. Even our vegeterian friend was happy with his choice. You will not be disappointed in the food, the service or the ambiance. We'll be there tomorrow

MY REVIEW: The seafood and salads were fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The restaurant is spacious and properly lit. Service was good. We will be going back.

MY REVIEW: We really enjoy this restaurant and plan to return many more times. Their seafood dishes are fresh and tasty, nicely presented and reasonable in price. The wait staff is welcoming, courteous and professional without being in-your-face. The interior of Pier 51 is much nicer than the exterior might portray ... tastefully decorated, very clean and spacious. All-in-all, a great place to dine and bring friends!

MY REVIEW: This was our third time in this place and we really love the food...We had the half fish and half shrimp platters and we also had the clam chowder!! It was so much food ...we also had some really ice cold beer. The shrimp was huge and the fish was very fresh,and very hot,great food. We tell all of our friends about this cozy place, the young waiter that served us was very polite, respectful, and made us feel very important. By the way don't ever change the music at this place it was fabulous!

MY REVIEW: The place is definately a best kept secret. The service was outstanding and the food was awesome. The food was well portioned with large portions of the actual entree and not just huge sides and nothing else. I had the scallops and I was amazed at the size and the freshness. Not many people can do good scallops which leads me to think that the rest of the menu is above average. This place a is where you can visit frequently without breaking the bank. Oh, my husband had the boiled shrimp and had no complaints.

MY REVIEW: As another review mentioned this place is a GEM. Food is great and the price per portion is hard to believe when compared to better known seafood restaurants. Food always tastes fresh and seasoned just right. My husband and I always go there when we are looking for a comfortable neighborhood spot where we know the food is consistently good and the service always warm and friendly. I will always go back and encourage anyone who hasn't been there to give them a shot.

MY REVIEW: Great Place! I'm a very picky eater and I don't like to try new places, but we had to go somewhere closer to work and a coworker recommended this place. I was pleasantly surprise. Great food, good service and nice and clean. I had the grilled shrimp and it was the best I had in a long time. I'm taking another coworker there today for lunch. Also prices are reasonable.

MY REVIEW: The best seafood place in Houston!!! It was our first time there and we can't wait to go back. The restaurant is very clean and nice, service is excellent and food is cooked to perfection whether it is fish, shrimp, oysters, vegetables or desserts!!! Thank you!!! MY REVIEW: WOW! - Some Friends from the Kingdom Hall told us about this place and We agree with everyone else. Food is Great. Seasoned Well. Better than PPDX, and plus you get more larger portions. Service was great and Clean. Everything on my plate was Hot and Fresh. The cornmeal batter on the Fried Platter just hit the spot. I highly recommend to everyone to stop in and try it. You wont be dissapointed.

MY REVIEW: I agree with every review on here, the place is GREAT! I am so happy to have found a good Quality seafood restaurant in the Missouri City area..The gumbo was great as was the bisque. I had the blackened snapper and shrimp and my husband had the bacon wrapped shrimp. The veggies that came with the meal were fresh and the fish did not taste fishy. Our waitress was very attentive, the atmosphere was vey nice (not so loud that you could not carry on a conversation) no long wait and very reasonable prices. Can't wait to go again.

MY REVIEW: Took some family friends to enjoy a late lunch/early dinner. The Food was spot on and the people I took were formally fans of the "Red Lob" syndrome...they were floored by the value and quality of their orders. They didnt cry or harm themselves over money spent before at The LOB>> but they swore they would pick Pier 61 over it from now on..Great food..great prices

MY REVIEW: I lOVE this place! The food is always fresh and impeccably prepared. Since I work very close to this restaurant, I call in my order of Shrimp Po-Boy with hush puppies instead of fries a lot! I crave it! I recommend this place highly. Prices are very reasonable and the people who work there are just lovely. Try it once and you won't regret it!

MY REVIEW: i heard about this place from all my co-workers, they were saying how amazing this place was, so i had to go try things out for myself. The restaurant is so cute and cozy, i love how its decorated and the amazing painting at the end. I was greeted by Annie, she was such a wonderful hostess, and Rachelle was my waitress. I had the fried catfish and shrimp; it was delicious and perfect and great in size. My boyfriend had the poboy and gumbo, he LOVED it. He even ordered another poboy togo. The staff give 110% at making things great and so is the food.
