MY REVIEW: This is a response to lunchgirl's review. If $2.05 is too expensive for a breakfast taco with cheese maybe you should go eat somewhere else. The tacos are large and made with homemade tortillas. I have not found another breakfast taco anywhere in Houston that taste as good or fills you up as much. Great Food Great Atmosphere!

MY REVIEW: This place is great! Growing up my mother made flour tortillas from scratch just about every weekend. Also i grew up in San Antonio where you can throw a rock in any direction and hit a great taco house. I've been residing in Houston for 5 years, and this is the best taco joint i've found! Great tortillas, awesome service, and fair prices. If you like carne guisada, then look no further! The ladies behind the counter all look like they can be related to me, So you know They're doing work!!!

MY REVIEW: My last two trips here, I was charged $2.05 per breakfast taco for the menu standard plus cheese (which went up to 50 cents per taco). This adds up on an order for a dozen or more tacos. My office has stopped getting food here and we were steady 2 - 3 times a week customers from the first week Chilosos opened. Don't order the huevos con papas - the potatos are always raw to the point of crunchiness. The homemade tortillas were the draw for us but this is Houston - you can get Mexican food this good or better just about anywhere in town. We did.

MY REVIEW: I am from San Angelo, TX. which is famous for excellent mom and pop mexican food. If you've ever had a D*iego's burrito (taco)or a C*orner Stop burrito (taco), you know what I'm talking about! Well, D*iego's and C*orner Stop...WATCH OUT!!! This is what breakfast tacos should taste like. They've hit a home run with the food, ambience, & staff. I consider myself a chorizo connoisseur, and I've never had better. They call me by name and I've been there only seven times. I'll drive across town if I ever move to the burbs!!!

MY REVIEW: The breakfast tacos are some of the best in Houston. Lunch tacos are good too. With homemade corn and flour tortillas, you can't beat it!

MY REVIEW: This place is well worth a look. The breakfast tacos are great and the pork in green sauce is tasty as well. Tortillas are homemade and outstanding. They have both a red and green sauce for the salsa fans. Put this place on your list.

MY REVIEW: Clean, very hospitable atmosphere with very charming staff. Tacos are good to very good. Worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood but not worth a special trip.

MY REVIEW: All I've had here are the breakfast tacos, but they are greatness. Place is clean, good service, courteous employees/owner. Highly recommended. According to the owner, a patio and margaritas are coming soon!
