MY REVIEW: I suppose if you are in a big hurry for Chinese and want to use the drive thru, then Panda Express might be the ticket. However, if you elect to eat in and choose the steamtable (as I did) then you might regret the decision (as I did).
I mean, most any Chinese buffet is going to be better and less expensive. Panda is going to nickle-and-dime you. I had lo mein with black pepper chicken, eggroll and some new shrimp dish (can't remember what they called but it's shrimp in a syrupy glaze--not that good). By the time I paid extra for the eggroll ($1.25) and shrimp ($1) my tab was $8.50, a price you can beat at most buffets. I only elected to pay extra for the shrimp because most of the other selections were looking old & tired by 2:30pm. Their selection is not that great to begin with, and when too many bins are nearly empty, well that's adding insult to injury.
In about the same length of time and for less money, I could've enjoyed a better selection of better tasting food at any Chinese buffet in the area.

MY REVIEW: The hispanic girl at the drive through that takes the orders is VERY hard to understand as she has a VERY thick accent. If you customers and an employee that can't understand each other then maybe you should put another employee in that position and move the hispanic girl to another position at the same location. Just saying.........
The food is good at this location.

MY REVIEW: If you like the kind of food at an airport or the mall food court then this is the place for you. I do not so I won't be back. Overpriced, over salted, heavy sauces full of corn starch just plain not what I want.

MY REVIEW: I had lunch yesterday at their new location near Reliant Stadium on South Main. I ordered my lunch "to go" and took it to my office.
I agree with Tim 100% - the food was very good but a little pricey. I had the Beijing Beef and Mushroom Chicken with Fried Rice. Very tasty and fresh. Beware: when they say "spicy" on their menu, they mean it! I will absolutely be going back for lunch again. I can recommend this establishment as a good take-out lunch for those of us working in the Texas Medical Center vicinity.

MY REVIEW: You kidding me?
The food is absolutely delicious "AND HOT."
Yes, a little pricey, but well worth the money. I've eaten there twice, one dine in, second drive through, and I had to absolutely force myself away from this food before my belly burst. The Orange chicken, the mushroom chicken, the beef, the steamed rice, the egg rolls, all absolutely delectable.
Not sure if the west side of town has issues with their employees, but the ones here off of Bay Area were polite, detailed, and served some piping hot, delicious food. I am now a Panda Express fan and will eat there for a long time yet to come.

MY REVIEW: I have just returned from lunch at the new location on Sawyer Street. The orange chicken and the spicy beef were not bad at all but they could have been warmer. The fried rice was bad--not cooked enough, crunchy and tasteless. Probably will try again before making final judgment.

MY REVIEW: I went to the new location on Sawyer and I-10(by new Targ#t) and was not impressed. I first tried them in Chicago and was a fan. My lo-mein was old and the beef was fried too long. I gave them another shot on a different day and found the same. I hope they read these reviews and take from them. Third time's a charm I hope.

MY REVIEW: Food is good for fast food. No MSG. If something is not fresh they will cook it for you. Remember this is FAST FOOD. I have been to Panda's in Vegas and they are good too.

MY REVIEW: Beyond horrible. A sort of sweetish dough encasing a slurry of soggy vegetal matter (alleged egg roll), salty but otherwise unflavored "fried rice", and worst of all "beef and broccoli" which was a few thin, cold slices of tasteless meat in a sticky brown substance surrounded by grayish green, bitter broccoli. Yuk. It was inedible. There are any number of authentic Asian places out there with good fresh food. Go find one and support an entrepeneur instead of this travesty.

MY REVIEW: WILL NOT BE BACK. I had a taste of a friends orange chicken once and it was decent, so my husband and I decided to try it one night. We went in and there was barely anything to choose from in the line of food. The food we did pick was cold and tasteless. We went a little early, around 5:30, but still you'd think they would be gearing up for the dinner crowd. Nothing at all was good about this place.

MY REVIEW: I agree with the previous post. I tried the chicken and the sweet and sour pork. The pork was oddly enough spongy, the coating that is, totally off the meat and swelled. (I went through the drive through.) I couldn't believe they thought it was ok to serve this. I guess from sitting under lamps. The chicken, well not great just not as bad, just over cooked and dried out crunchy. Well, take it back, maybe it was just as bad, over cooked. And, this is not inexpensive fast meal, it cost less to get a nice fresh Vietnamese Bun just a couple of miles away. But, not a drive through. I rather have a burger from the worst place. Oddly enough they are opeing another just down it's crossing street, Mason. I will only pass it by and wonder why it stays open.

MY REVIEW: Alright... Strong Points: Fast. Well, sorta. Weak Points: I'm sure that the reason there are no reviews here yet is due to the fact that the B4-U-EAT crowd has probably steered far away from this establishment. Because these places seem to be popping up all over the place and I had read mixed reviews on the internet, I decided to give it a try. The food was absolutely horrible! The staff seemed to be moving in slow motion and weren't helpful at all when trying to choose a dish. Almost ALL of the food was some type of meat, battered, fried and then drenched in some type of colored Karo syrup. They had lots of people in the back slinging woks and ingredients but the food was cold, soggy and lacked any type of distint flavor. I had the Orange Chicken (which was the most highly recommended item in reviews), Sweet and Sour Pork, Fried Rice and a Chicken Egg Roll. All of the above were not even suitable to be on a J*ack-In-The-Box menu... I would have felt bad feeding this stuff to my dogs. For about the same price, I could have gotten a good dish at P*ei Wei or T*hai Cottage. Granted, the wait would have been a little longer, but it would have been palatable food. In the next few months... there are going to be 3 of these things within 8 miles of each other in the Clear Lake area. You have been warned!
