MY REVIEW: This is a small 'mom-and-pop' Chinese place that moved to this location from Houston's chinatown approx. 10 months ago (or so they told me). The food is inexpensive and of passable quality. It's filling, but not outstanding (at least the two dishes we tried). The staff was helpful and friendly. This place uses a 'self-serve' policy similar to buffets; the patrons help themselves to a condiments bar along the back wall. There, they pour themselves cups of tea (or water) and get their chopsticks, bowls, and spoons. I understand this was done as a cost-cutting measure, but it's not the best arrangement when the place is crowded with customers and you are trying to navigate back to your table holding cups of hot tea.
Qianlong is only one of many new Chinese restaurants popping up at the strip mall dominated by the WellFarm (Asian) grocery store. If you want inexpensive Chinese food in that area, you might want to give it a try. We would go back again.
