MY REVIEW: Simply put this place is awesome! Ive tried something different every time I have been and each time it is amazing. From their smoothies to the soft shell crab everything is soooo good. I love the fresh spring rolls and green curry. The only con about it is that it is not open on Sundays and is kinda small.

MY REVIEW: Mango Tree Thai Bistro is an amazing place to eat! The ka Pao Basil with beef is my favorite dish. Be careful not to get it too spicy. Today I had it made to a 4 on a 5 scale and it was great, be careful though. My son like to Pad Thai dish with a mix of chicken and beef, and my wife always orders the yellow Curry with chicken and rice. The wait staff is very friendly and take good care of you. My wife eats there at least twice a week...

MY REVIEW: Since my first review, my wife and I have been back many, many times. We have taken all of our sons and a couple of friends. Everyone raved about the food. No one said the food was good, they said it was GREAT. All said this was one of the best resturants they had ever visited. Everyone appreciated the fact that the place is clean and that patrons aren't sitting on top of one another. Our oldest son is in the food industry. He once managed a very exclusive 4 star resturant. He is very critical when it comes to resturants, especially when it comes to cleanliness. He rates this place as way above board on food quality and cleanliness, in fact he asked to eat here when he was in town for Thanksgiving. The service is also great and everyone is very nice.

MY REVIEW: The food is very good and the sushi was also very good with a crisp clean taste. It is very clean and uncluttered as well. It will be a regular stop for me.

MY REVIEW: very below average food. The prices are good however, you rather pay couple of dollars more and eat at a better place. Tum Yum had a little sweet taste, which is never suppose to be sweet. Overall I would never go back.

MY REVIEW: Mango tree is a must-try-place!! Delicious fresh food at reasonable prices and an impeccably clean restaurant; I was very impressed with the quality of the product and strongly recommend it. Paying an average of $8.00 per meal & drink, per person, is definitely not a high price when you take quality, cleanness, and service into consideration.

MY REVIEW: I was in the area on a business trip. I had the garlic soft shell crab for dinner. It was very flavorful. For the drink I was undecided but the waitress suggested a boba tea. So I tried their boba cappucino, very good. Also, I ordered their special fried rice TOGO. No complaints there. Atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend.

MY REVIEW: My first visit to Mango Tree was the most pleasant dining experience I have ever had. The restaurant has a unique and modern style to it. The food was authentic with the perfect mix of spices. The Pad Khi Mao and Pad Thai are a must try. In addition to being the most delicious Thai food I have ever had, they also have Sushi and Boba (Tapioca) Tea. The price was very reasonable and staff was as pleasant as can be. I will definetely be coming back again and again. If you are in the neighborhood of 249 and Grant, you have got to stop by!

MY REVIEW: This Thai restaurant is very clean with a pleasant, modern décor . I ordered lunch and while the quality is quite good, the portions are small. A typical lunch costs $6.95 and does not include soup, egg roll or iced tea. These can be ordered at an additional cost. While I was waiting for my lunch a woman at the next table complained that the cup of water she was served was not even close to being hot enough for her tea bag.

My bill for 1 lunch entrée and iced tea came to $8.88. So with the tip we are talking $10.88 for a small plate of food and iced tea. For the same price one can easily find a good Thai buffet. I was still hungry when I left, and will not be visiting this restaurant again. Main criticism: PORTION SIZE AND VALUE.

MY REVIEW: What a surprise to discover a Thai restaurant anchoring a new strip center off TX 249 on Grant Rd. that also has a doughnut/ice cream shop (!) at the opposite end. Had dinner there for the first time 4 nights ago. The spring rolls were tasty and fresh, though small. The pad thai seemed very authentic with the diced pickled turnips that are often omitted from other versions. Often I find pad thai too sweet, but Mango Tree's wasn't cloying and adding chili sauce from the condiment jars on the table solved that. The green chicken curry was also good. They're having a grand opening July 8.

I must ask: what's with the annoying wall-mounted tv's in Thai restaurants? Another area favorite, T*ubTim Thai, also has one, and it's like eating in a sports bar.

Our waitress told us that due to its proximity to a high school, the Mango Tree will not be able to acquire a liquor license but BYOB is encouraged.

MY REVIEW: This was our first visit (lunch) and my wife and I were both impressed. Our food was great My wife had fried rice with several types of meat mixed in the rice, I had the fried talipia with a curry sauce. We both loved our food. The service was good and the resturant is very clean and nice. We ordered off the lunch menu so the food was cooked to order which took a little longer. It was well worth the wait.

MY REVIEW: After dining at the Mango Tree, I am compelled to add an enthusiastic review. Everything was delicious! We ordered three appetizers: the fresh spring rolls with shrimp, the fried spring rolls with chicken, and the spicy cheese rolls. The fresh spring rolls had plenty of shrimp, fresh crisp lettuce, and the peanut sauce was very tasty. The two fried items were crispy but not greasy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside.

Mary, one of the owners, recommended a few entrees to help us narrow down the extensive menu. My wife had the Basil Duck while I opted for the Garlic Soft Shell Crab, and we threw in an order of Chicken Pad Thai. The Pad Thai was good, hot and fresh with the flavors nicely balanced between the chicken and the noodles and the sauce. The duck was superbly tasty, perfectly cooked, tender, and the spicy basil sauce was just right. As good as everything else was, we both agreed the crab was the star of the meal. It was lightly battered and perfectly crisp on the outside, with succulent crabmeat on the inside. When it was gone, I used some rice to soak up the rest of the garlic curry sauce and the crust crumbs and the sautéed onions.

One other thing worth mentioning is that they don't yet have a liquor license--at the moment it is BYOB (with no corkage fee) so bring your own favorite wine or beer. I heartily recommend this restaurant, and I am very grateful that we have a place of this quality out here in the 'burbs.

MY REVIEW: As another reviewer stated, their spring rolls and accompanying sauce were exceptional.

The prices at Mango Thai are very reasonable and the food and service were good as well. Mellow atmosphere and calm decor. They are located in a new shopping center.

It is great to have another Thai restaurant in the area!

MY REVIEW: Very good Thai food. The Tom Yum soup is very good, but leave out the tomatoes unless you like them. The Pad Khi Mao was very good and they tailor the spice to our liking.

Will definitely visit this place again.

MY REVIEW: This is a cute little family friendly spot on the NW side that offers great tasty Thai food. We definitely welcomed this place with open arms since there's not many good Thai places in the area.

The food is wonderful but portions are rather small but probably proportioned to the low prices. The staff is friendly and helpful even though they are new and still learning. Boba drinks were good too. Give it a try!

MY REVIEW: I visited the Mango Tree Thai Bistro for the first time this past Saturday. The bamboo accents, the plants, candles on the table and tropical ceiling fans were a nice touch to the decor as was the view from the large windows. A huge screen TV is on the back wall for those that wish to catch their favorite programs while they dine.

The menu is varied and had many great looking items to choose from, including many hot and spicy dishes. I had trouble deciding what to order. I finally chose the fried spring rolls, which were absolutely delicious, hot and crisp and filled with veggies, and the House Shrimp fried rice. It was also delicious and filled with large shrimp. It was such a large order that I had to take half home--it could have easily fed 2 people. I was too full to even try any of the scrumptious looking ice cream desserts.

Another diner had mentioned that the Vietnamese sandwiches are delicious and are around $2/each. I think my next visit I will have to try one of the sandwiches and hopefully have room for dessert. I also plan to try one of the Boba teas next time and/or one of the smoothies. I ordered tea this time (only 1.25 a glass).

I also have to comment on the service, which was excellent and very attentive. The waitstaff does a tremendous job taking care of you. I'm sure this place will really catch on as word gets out.

To sum it up, this is a great place to relax and unwind and try some wonderful dishes that you may not have tried before at very reasonable prices and with wonderful service. What more could you ask for.

MY REVIEW: Food was absolutely delicious! Fried spring rolls were perfectly crispy, non greasy. We also had a couple delicious chicken dishes. All of the ingredients tasted so fresh, and blended perfectly. Jasmine rice was absolutely perfect. Jennifer recommended the thai chili to put over our rice and it was so good. Just the right amount of spice. We had the Boba tea for dessert. The strawberry bomb was absolutely delicious! Yummy, yummy, yummy!
