Uncle Lee's Cafe #2

MY REVIEW: I'm not a fan of Chinese take-out but this place did a great job of changing my mind. They're the best I've had since K*am's Kitchen in NY and I agree that the portions are always generous.

The delivery, especially at lunch time is speedy and both the delivery and phone staff are always friendly.

Their Chicken Fried Rice was so delicious and had it's own unique flavor as well as thin strips of chicken which was as good as it was different. It's seasoned well and the price would have been good for a service half the size.

My daughter LOVES General Tso's chicken and has had it in many places so I trust her opinion of how good theirs is. It is batter dipped then done in sauce which while it isn't a style I'd select, it was indeed quite tasty.

Overall I think this is a great take-out choice and a cut above the rest

MY REVIEW: The food is always hot and made fresh. Their tea has a different taste, but I have grown to love it! I think the Sesame Chicken is fantastic, and my kids love the Cashew Chicken. They provide generous portions for the price and the delivery service is always on time! We place an order for 15 people at work twice a month and they label each entree to make it easy for dividing up the order. The staff is always friendly...I highly reccommend them! They also give you free tea while waiting for your order if you wish to pick it up.

MY REVIEW: Uncle Lee's is good Chinese food for the price. The beef is a bit cheap and somewhat chewy but has good flavor. Good brown sauce and good Beef with Broccoli. Egg rolls are top notch and very good and actually some of the best. Hot and sour soup is above average and I only get it better at P*F Changs. Its more sour to me than hot but very good. Rice is good but then again how do you screw up rice.

The Chicken and Broccoli is actually a little better choice if your a Beef and Broccoli fan. The beef they use tends to be a little cheap. There really is no such thing as cheap chicken so I find it a better dish. The Lo Mein is also a good choice. The noodles are flavored very well and don't stick together. All of their soups are good from Egg drop to Hot and sour and wonton. The steamed and fried dumplings again are very good and I really like the sauce as it's not too salty. They have a good lunch menu with just the right amount.

I have ordered both take home and delivery and I have found them very prompt and fast when getting delivery. There isn't a dining hall so take out and delivery are your only options.

Overall I have found Uncle Lee's the best "fast food" type of chinese food that one can find.
