MY REVIEW: I live in Kingwood and have been patiently waiting for this new eatery to open. My wife and I stopped by at noon on a Saturday 2 weeks after they opened. Apparantly, there was a private party or something going on, and the door was locked, but they were letting in some patrons that showed up. There was no public notice posted of what was going on, or that they were closed.
They had a very good review in the Kingwood Observer newspaper a few weeks ago, and noted that they were open for both lunch and dinner. I tried again on a recent Thursday for lunch. There was a clearly posted "Business Hours" sign in the window, and "lunch hours" were posted. Again, the door was locked, but a lady was inside at the hostess stand. She finally came to the door while I was standing there an mouthed "We're closed" I pointed to the sign glued in the window, and she once again mouthed "Oh yea, we need to take that off, we're not open for lunch".
I don't think I'll bother to return.

MY REVIEW: The food here is pretty much on par with what you will get at any of the C*ordua restaurants in town (C*hurrascos, A*mericas, A*rtista, etc.). I especially enjoyed the scallops that came as part of my entree of delicately fried seafood.
The only low point, if it could even be called that, was that our waitress needs a bit of training to be up to the standard that you should find at this grade of restaurant. Fortunately the manager was watchful enough to pick up the slack and he made sure we were looked after.
As fans of this type of cuisine, I'm sure we'll be back several times.

MY REVIEW: Our second visit and was even better than the first. David was our waiter and was very attentive and helpful. We had the snapper, the churrasco, a chicken dish and everything was great! Decent but reasonable wine list. A bit like C*hurrasco's downtown. Not too large a restaurant and the wine room was a little quieter. Just getting started in King's Harbor on the water in Kingwood, and I would recommend it to anyone. About $50 per person with salad, entree, dinner and a couple of drinks.

MY REVIEW: Our son, who resides in Kingwood, treated us to Mother's Day lunch at this restaurant and it was a very nice dining experience. The plantain chips and accompanying sauce were excellent, the appetizers very good. We had empanadas which were the best I have ever tasted. The preset Mother's Day menu, included a fish dish and a large salad which were both very good. Too bad Kingwood is fifty miles away or we would frequent this restaurant often. The Manager kept asking if we were happy with everything and was extremely attentive and concerned.
