Smoothie Island Juice Bar & Grill

MY REVIEW: Food is decent but the prices are way to high for what you get like $9 for a salad and $3 more to add chicken $5 or $6 for smoothie I will not be going back any time soon. In Bellaire there are 3 to 5 places that have much better food & way better prices. If the prices were better I would be going like once every other month. So if your looking for a meal for $5 to $7 a person then pass this is not the place for you

MY REVIEW: Great food but sort of pricy. For example, breakfast today, two bagel sandwiches and a grilled chicken sandwich + 2 drinks = $25. Seems sort of high for what we got.

5*9 Diner continues to be the best value in town for any meal and particularly breakfast (IMHO)

MY REVIEW: Our neighbors had raved about the burgers at this place and they are RIGHT! Fab Angus beef burgers -- just know they take awhile to fix, we were starving but worth the wait. Best burgers we've ever had, fries good too. Great location and friendly folks. Extensive menu ... we'll be back to try other things.

MY REVIEW: After all of these great reviews, we wanted to try the new location next to Whole Foods on Bellaire Boulevard but on my first few visits, I wasn't impressed. Perhaps the Woodway location is different and has apparently been around for a while, I think it's outlandish to say things on your menu like "the best breakfast in Houston'. That's just crazy talk given all of the other restuarant options and venues in toen that have established their reputations over dcades.

Also, I thought it was expensive for what we got. One of our kids commented that some of the pasta dishes were more expensive than those at C*arrabbas.

I guess I'll have to try some of the other items on the menu to really make a judgement call on this place but so far, it's well down on our list behind places like 5*9 Diner, H*arry's, J*ack's, R*oadster Grill, A*untie Pasto's...and C*arrabbas.

MY REVIEW: Perfect blend of great, healthy food and a friendly atmosphere. A great place to gather and have a meeting. Be sure to check out Fasil's new location on Bellaire next to Whole Foods - a little less open, but more places to sit with private conversation

MY REVIEW: I can't believe how good this place is ! the Grilled chicken pita is to die for! I have never had a better pita...ever. Everything else looks good too! You know that it is fresh and healthy! what could be better! the place is a little small, but that's my only complaint! I could live off of this place! i love it!

MY REVIEW: I like to go to the Island because I can get my cake and eat it , after I eat the half a pound angus burger and the best fries in town,I order a fresh squeez grape fruit juice ( I was told it burn fat ).

I love this place, many good choices, beatifull people all around, many Houston and world icons come to this place. Parking is an issue but all good shopping centers in good areas have the same problems.

MY REVIEW: Fasil and Pete know just how to treat their customers. I love the atmosphere and the smoothies! Great breakfast and coffee! This menu lets me eat healthy and allows for some good company and conversation. Thanks Fasil! I Love Smoothie Island!

MY REVIEW: Faysal is THE man! He knows the regulars by name and the atmosphere is always excellent. After two or three times in, Pete (behind the counter) will know your usual order by heart. Fast, fresh, and friendly. Try the chicken pita!

MY REVIEW: This is my favorite Saturday morning breakfast place. I've never had better huevos con papas. The refritos are also delicious...ask for "extra beans". And the price??? How do they prepapre food that good for less than $4.00 with coffee? If a GREAT Mexican breakfast is what you are craving, this place is unmatched.

MY REVIEW: Went there this morning to try their breakfasts since the lunches have always been very good. Their pancakes are the best I've had anywhere ... no exceptions! Thick, light, and fluffy. I'll definitely be returning.
