MY REVIEW: stumbled onto this place when the Torta Shop directly on Hillcroft did not look promising. I was immediately impressed upon entering the restaurant as the decor is bright and cheery. Had more of a South American flair rather than Mexican.
Both my daughter and I had the rotisserie chicken combos which each come with 2 sides. The chicken was moist and flavorful and a good portion for the money. It is offered in 1/4, 1/2 and a whole chicken, so there is much flexibility depending on the number you are serving.
we were particularly impressed by the sides dishes both in variety and taste (portions were generous as well). The fried yucca, plaintains and spicy fries were all very good. I wil definitely be back!

MY REVIEW: I really liked the roasted chicken with hot sauce. Yummy! Their large avocado salad is pretty good. I would go more often, but I live far from the restaurant.

MY REVIEW: Very nice but small place - with decor and food this good they could fill a larger space. Pollo rostizado is good and has generous sized pieces unlike some places that are serving skimpier and skimpier pieces these days. Frijoles pintos were pretty basic but good, plantanos maduros were also good, with crispy tapered ends that were a nice treat. Other foods I saw being served looked good and the staff was exceptionally friendly and clearly want your business. They will greet you in Spanish but quickly switch to English if you're not conversant. Prices are fair for what you get.
Only bad thing is the parking - that parking lot is very tight, particularly with all the behemonths that people drive today. But I'll be back. I've put them on my speed dial so I can pick up some on the way home without a wait.

MY REVIEW: I love this place. Great food & great prices. Love the sauce that goes with the Yucca. The chicken is delish and the Sangrias are not too shabby. The owner is very nice and personable. If you are looking for quick service, a casual vibe and good latin food, this is the place.

MY REVIEW: This place is a real gem. I go once a week. The best rotisserie chicken in town, bar none. Great sauce on the side to spice up the chicken. So tasty. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

MY REVIEW: Went there for the first time this past weekend. We had the 1/2 roasted chicken, the shrimp in garlic sauce and the fried tilapia for entres and the fried yuca and tostones(fried bananas)for appetizers. The food was excellent. Enrique the owner was very attentive. The music was an extra bonus...it was Andean music with Quena and various other strings and woodwind instruments.

MY REVIEW: We ordered the 1/2 a chicken with four options, the food was great! We ordered from work and had to call it in after they faxed us the menu and it was ready in less than 10 minutes, fresh and hot! Two of us ate and we still had left overs. It was just right, not salty or bland or spicy. I like the boiled potatoes!
