MY REVIEW: Jimmy John's Yale St. location is poorly managed and has lost my business forever. They are a prime example of how terrible customer service can taint what in actuality is a fine product. I have long been a fan of Jimmy John's sandwiches and was originally very pleased to find that they were opening a store 2 blocks from my apartment. My first experience there was fine, but on another visit they completely messed up my order.
It is only reasonable to assume that this will happen from time to time in their line of business, but their response to their error in no way rectified the situation. When I called the store and asked for the correct sandwich to be delivered (and explicitly stated that I was 2 blocks away), they refused to deliver the sandwich. Their reasoning was that a delivered order costs more than a pick up order. Well, great job Jimmy John's Yale St., in order to save a dollar today, you have lost a customer for life. This store is poorly managed...not a good start for the Yale St. location.

MY REVIEW: his was my second visit and I could not wait to go back ! The first time they had just been opened for a week ,it was delicious the sandwich was packed with meat and tasty! The second time had half the amount of meat and was all bread, I think I will wait for J*ersey Mikes to open ,they are consistantly great and generous with their meat!Very dissapointed!

MY REVIEW: JJ's isn't my favorite sandwich spot, but I consider them a healthier alternative to pizza and Chinese delivery. And delivery is what they do best, they almost always get it delivered within 10 minutes of ordering, online or phone. One time they did screw up and forgot to put any tuna on a tuna sub. We called about it and they rushed over less than 10 minutes later with a corrected sub and a voucher for a free sandwich.
JJ's prices are competitive with other sandwich chains. The ingredients are always fresh and we have yet to receive a truly mediocre sandwich. Setting up an account and ordering online is very convenient, and the web site will remember your last orders for easy access.
My girlfriend tricked me out my last birthday, which was 11/11/11. She ordered 11 cookies and one of their huge pickles sliced into 11 spears and had JJ's deliver that to my office. Yes, it was weird.

MY REVIEW: I used to think their radio commercials were silly. Never thought of ordering from them, but one day they left some samples and their menus at my office. YUM! Very good! Took a menu with me to my desk.
I had started an online order from them a few times, only to hit cancel, never following through with it. Wasn't sure what delivery sandwiches would taste like, what if they got my order wrong, etc. Excuses excuses. One day I was swamped with a project, had no chance of stepping away for some lunch. The chances of me being able to run out, grab something to bring back to my office were narrowing. I finally decided to place an order that day and I have been a faithful customer ever since.
The first time I ordered, I thought the receptionist was joshing me when she called me 10 mins. later to say that my food was delivered. I have no idea how they would have put together my food and delivered it within 10 mins of ordering. I figured my food would be a mess--I could imagine them just slapping everything together, wrapping it up, throwing it in a bag, but it wasn't. It was just as I ordered, cut in half, add dijon mustard, extra peppers and best of all DELICIOUS!
Some time later, I ordered again. I envisioned this melee of staff in the kitchen with the manager, in bootcamp-fashion, shouting out my order. Then some poor kid running down the street with my delivery. I seriously do not know how they pull this off, but I get a fresh, delicious, made to order sandwich every time I have ordered.
There has only been **ONE** time when my order wasn't delivered at a lightening fast pace. I had a co-worker in my office, my online order on the screen, hand on the mouse poised to click the confirm order button. I told her, "watch this"... She stayed in my office while the minutes passed. Then more minutes passed. By 15 minutes, I was getting panic stricken. Thoughts of some delivery guy having been hit by a car while darting across the street ran through my mind. I eventually called them--not to complain--but to make sure that the delivery guy was okay. They apologized profusely, but they had been very busy that day and my order would be there shortly.
The next time I ordered, it was prompt as usual, and the delivery guy apologized for the delay in my previous order. =)
I will definitely continue to order from them and will continue to sing their praises.

MY REVIEW: Great, fresh sandwiches, but run by a bunch of kids who are having too good of a time behind the counter. I wanted help planning a party, but their communication skills were too juevenile to hold a conversation.

MY REVIEW: Jimmy John's has great sandwiches, fresh and tasty. Their customer service is also consistently great from the employees who work the counter and answer the phone to take orders to the delivery guys. All have been unfailingly pleasant and courteous.

MY REVIEW: Fresh bread, fresh meat, real meat, great service. Not all dolled up with everything but the kitchen sink so that you can't really taste the sandwich. One of our favorite places.

MY REVIEW: For $9 (sandwich #9, chips, and drink), the price is a bit high. The sandwich taste was bland (mostly lettuce and bread), the sweet tea was mediocre, but the BBQ chips were awesome. There are plenty of other sandwich places in the Woodlands, so JJ's has some competition and room for improvement.

MY REVIEW: To be honest, I have only ever order one sandwich here since I first discovered the place in Austin, Tx some years ago and that is the JJ Gargantuan. Its literally everything (and probably more) than anyone could ask for in a sub. It has been great the 7 of 8 times I have ordered it (approximately) And I would say 7 of 8 is a GREAT percentage!. I have had the chane to try other things however since my girlfriend is usually with me. She enjoys more of a variety than me and orders the Pepe, Beach Club and Club LuLu. She also enjoys it most of the time.
Overall I would rate JJ's as one of the top 3 sandwich shops in Houston. The only weak points I can name is that they lack side items such as soups, or a better variety of chips. Oh, and another plus is that every employee that I have ever done business with has been AMAZING. Great establishment both on 59 and the one in Sugar Land (though Ive only been to this location twice) For its genre/category I give it a SOLID 3/4 stars. It's not easy to perfect the sandwich!

MY REVIEW: I have nothing negative to say about Jimmy John's. Everytime I have ordered from them they have delivered exactly what I ordered and on time, if not sooner than expected. Even when I place 4 to 5 seperate orders and some w/special requests. I must admit, their sandwiches are a bit smaller than they were when they started but other than that...I have no complaints.

MY REVIEW: When Jimmy John's first came to Houston, my office and I were delighted with the fast delivery service and great sandwiches. Well, I don't know what happened. The service and the quality of the food is getting worse on a consistant basis. The last three times I have ordered from them, I have had to have them come back and "fix" what they screwed up. Today, I ordered an unwich with extra mayo. The driver, got lost and ended up in the wrong building way down the street, and there was no mayo at all on the sandwich. My food sucked so badly today, that I have written Jimmy John's off entirely.

MY REVIEW: I actually have been attending the new Westheimer location. Food there is mediocre at best. I had high hopes since I really like the SW Fwy location. At this new location, they have yet to get my order correct the first time. There is nothing spectacular about these sandwiches, but the price definitely reflects this. Low price equates to low quality, at least at this location.

MY REVIEW: I expected more from the subs from the menu. Heavy on fillers light on meat, compared to their description. However, better than most chains and they deliver, which is brilliant. Their chocolate chip cookie on the other hand, is flat and stale tasting. I truly expected more, but will order again.

MY REVIEW: Best sandwiches hands down in my opinion.
They deliver to the medical center which is worth extra credit in my book.
Fresh French Bread every time, not soggy or stale.
They consistently have delivered well prepared subs, unlike my experiences at s*ubway et.al. where juices and ingredients are all over the place. Meats and vegetables are nicely stacked , and sandwich is wrapped nice and tight.
