MY REVIEW: We have been dining here for several months. Service is Always outstanding, the wait staff no longer asks us what we want to drink, they know, and just bring it upon arrival. You cant find better TexMex in the Houston area. Fajitas, tacos, enchiladas are excellent, they have the best enchilada sauce we have ever found. There red and green salsas are also excellent, spicy, but not too much. Very reasonable prices and good food portions. Give it a try.

MY REVIEW: Great service, the wait staff is very attentive and the owners are very nice people. You feel genuinely welcome just walking in the door. Food is good, and the chips and sauce are fresh.

MY REVIEW: Love the service and the sangria ritas, food is good had better but it is a must on my list. One weak point the deco is out dated and it is too dark. I would recommend it to anyone how love rita and great service, oh yeah they are clean.

MY REVIEW: Strong points--margaritas are pretty good, cheese enchiladas are tasty. The staff was nice. Weak points: refried beans are terrible, salsas are very mild/bland, we did not see one hispanic diner in the whole restaurant. We likely won't return. We only went a second time because the reviews seemed so positive, and we barely remembered the first time we ate there. Now we will remember--we don't especially like this place. It seems catered to an older crowd who doesn't want anything too spicy or full-flavored.

MY REVIEW: I too discovered this place during Ike's aftemath. To say this place and the staff went above and beyond the call of duty is an understatement. Since Ike I have become a loyal customer. Sometimes I dine in and sometimes I get take out. Its always good!!!! I have never had anything that was bad. I have tried many different things and all were great. I have to say the borracho beans are the best I have ever had. I could eat them for a meal and be satisfied. The frozen margaritas with a splash of strawberry (special order) are soooooo good.

MY REVIEW: Tex-Mex at its best! Due to being near the Texas DPS headquarters, Tio Chucho had power almost immediately after Ike. Since Ike, my wife and I have eaten here a lot. I always seem to end up with those wonderful crispy tacos. I think these are Houston's best. My wife loves the enchalada combo with chili gravy (you can get chili gravy or enchalada sauce). She claims they are the best ever. I want to try something else but those tacos are so perfect I have stuck with them. A lady near us had a shrimp dish that I plan to try. It looked fantastic! The prices are fantastic, the portions large, the service great, and the management very nice. I don't drink if I am driving, but my wife likes the margaritas. I think I was 1 of about 3 or 4 adults in the resturant tonight w/o one and Tio Chucos was packed.

MY REVIEW: We used to live in some apartments nearby and vist frequently. My wife loves the stuff avacdo with chicken fajita. I order many things from the specials to general entrees.

Fo rmany years the food was great with plenty of everything. However, the prices have gone up and the servings are smaller. I hope they read this and go back to the portions before if they raise the prices!

Overall, the food is above average; however, the wait staff has decilned. They are slower and not as attentiv to the tables as in the past...Please go back to the old Tio Chuchos!!!

MY REVIEW: We have been to Tio Chucho's since we moved to Houston. Many years. The atmosphere is great and the food is good--but the music on Fridays is super good. It was even better when there was a young man singing country music. He was also a bartender. We still love to go and listen to "Faizal" There are not many places where a whole family can go to eat and have such a good time. Keep up the good work.Check it out.

MY REVIEW: Have the best borracho bean soup around. the food is always fresh and tasty. what happen to the bell pepper with the fajittas? The shrimp/chichen/beef fajittas are always a winning combination. Service is outstanding and the margarita's some of the best and prices have remained very reasonable over the past decade.Keep up the good work and you will always stay in business.

MY REVIEW: I ate here at night once and thought the food was OK, but nothing special. (I do not remember what I ordered but I do remember it was a lot of food.) After Ike, I ate lunch here daily for about a week as they had power. I had the 3 crispy tacos the first day and liked them so much that was what I ordered every day. They were very much like the crispy tacos from M*atts in Austin. Now I know why the parking lot is always full.

MY REVIEW: This place is absolutely wonderful. My boyfriend and I first came with his father on a Friday night and although it was very crouded, the atmosphere was great. We were seated right away and chips were brought to the table only minutes later. The magaritas are the best and the food is great! (My personal favorite is the beef quesadillas.) The absolute best part about Chuchos is the live entertainment on Friday nights. I love singing Karaoke and I am always welcomed to come sing with Faizal (the karaoke guy). It is great family fun with good food, singing and dancing. Everyone should venture out and eat here!

MY REVIEW: Went here last month with a friend scouting a new mexican place in the area. Have to admit, it was pretty yummy. There was actually enough time to pass from ordering to receiving the entree to know it was actually just cooked and not sitting in a steam table.

Try the deep fried avocado stuffed with fajita chicken.

MY REVIEW: I visited the one on West Road. I rated the food 7 out of 10 and the service 9 out of 10. I don't like the chip and salsa. The margarita is nothing to brag about. I loved the Charro Bean soup. I had the fajita and my husband had the fajata enchillada and they were pretty good. Will visit again.

MY REVIEW: I come here for lunch at least once a week with co-workers. I really can't say anything about the margaritas unfortunately since I eat during lunch, but the cheese enchiladas are absolutely the best I have ever had - the gravy/sauce they make to go on the enchiladas is perfect (especially if you aren't into chili on your enchiladas). The service is always attentive with your tea and water glass never running low. The green and red salsas are both full of flavor, even if they are not a thick and chunky style. Someday I will venture out and try something different than the cheese enchilada, taco, and guacamole from here - maybe.
