Luna's Tamale Factory & Mexican Grill

MY REVIEW: When I want a tamale fix, this is the place I go. Prices are very reasonable. I paid $5 for 1/2 dozen. I have eaten in the place to get one of their tamale plates and want to try breakfast one weekend. Normally, I just get my tamales on the run. People running this place are friendly. It's off the beaten path location-wise (West Oaks Mall vicinity), but well worth it.

MY REVIEW: Strong points: good food. Calm environment. Nice staff. Weak points: they are far from my home. Tamales are good.

MY REVIEW: We love this place. We live in the neighborhood and go by their and pick up some of their tamales all the time. They are really good. This past Christmas we picked up a bunch of them for our family get together and everyone raved about them. Nice and clean place and very friendly people.

MY REVIEW: Tucked away in a Citgo filling station/retail center, Luna's is a clean and tidy little shop. We had breakfast, which was still being served at 1:30pm on a Sunday. She ordered the Huevos a la Mexicana and I had the Chiliquiles -- both nice dishes. The green sauce was hot, and the red medium. At the end, we got a complementary pineapple muffin. A nice visit.

MY REVIEW: We went there for lunch. The place was small but very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. I ordered the tamale plate, came with 3-4 tamales, rice and beans and the tamales were fresh and delicious (not greasy like other places I've tried). My daughter had the tacos and she liked it but preferred my tamales so we ordered a dozen for $7.99. Pretty reasonable prices. Their drinks are fresh, we specially loved the orchata. I will definately go again.

MY REVIEW: Don't know how long they've been there, but they do fresh tamales daily. I've been going there for my Christmas Tamales for the last four years. Pork, beef, chicken, bean, CCQ, & more. They have other items for both breakfast & lunch.
