MY REVIEW: OMG! My wife and I hit Bailey's last night for the first time and I walked out amazed! The food was impeccably and flavorfully prepared and I can't remember when we had service that was that good!

I had the smoked prime rib (pecan and mesquite) and it was full of intense smoke flavor. My wife had roasted lamb chops encrusted in crushed nuts and parmesan . Man... both were really great!

An appetizer, our incredible meals and a bottle of good wine ran us $108 pre-tip, but it was totally worth it.

We will be back again and again and again.......

MY REVIEW: Took my wife here for her birthday with another couple. The food was pricey but worth every penny. We had lobster, smoked prime rib, fresh sea bass and salmon after appetizers of tuna and a small sausage flat-bread.

It was all great but what was really satisfying was the waiters ability to help us pick wines that we enjoyed. We were pleasantly surprised with this level of professional service not usually found in these parts.

Overall, great place...especially if you like good wine. We will be back.

MY REVIEW: If you are headed south on Highway 146 to eat south of the Seabrook Channel in an overcrowded, loud, kid screaming restaurant, where the food is one step below cafeteria, make the turn on Nasa 1 to Bailey's American Grille. What a pleasant suprise! The food was incredible, the service was second to none, and the beauty of the building itself makes it worth the trip.

We had the Shrimp and Grits and Crabcakes as appetizers and they were excellent! The filet, the fish, and the fresh vegatables were certainly the best you can find away from Mamma's House! The waiter was attentive, friendly, and seemed to have wanted to be waiting on us. Seabrook certainly has its fair share of excellent restaurants, from T*ookies and the greatest burger in the land, to Seabrook C*lassic with a Chicken Fried Steak that is hard to beat, but for a truly great dining experience and excellent food give Bailey's a try.

MY REVIEW: I can't say enough great things about this restaurant! I moved to the Clear Lake area In March and have been to Bailey's at least 10 times. My most recent visit was for thier one-year anniversary dinner. They served a six course meal paired with wine. Not only was the food fantastic and the service exceptional, but the people we sat with were so warm and friendly (and Bailey's regulars).

My husband and I are hooked! We have never been to a restaurant with such consistency in food quality and service. I hope it continues for many years!

MY REVIEW: I attended the Sunday Brunch at Bailey's. The hostess had told us before hand that Reservations are strongly suggested, so we placed our reservation about a week in advance. We were seated right away upon arrival. Our waitstaff was also attentive.

Food: the coffee is excellent. I hadn't had good strong, thick coffee like that since I was in Moscow, where they serve European like coffee. I ordered the Crabcakes Benedict, which was amazing. The crabcakes were huge and meaty. The benedict sauce was a little spicy, a great touch to the crabcakes. And it was creamy and delicious. The biscuits were light and flacky. They came with a garlic butter, which was an interesting addition.

I was going to order the bottomless mimosas, since I had heard alot about them, but they were like $16, which I think it a little high, especially since I was planning on driving.

Bottom line, I highly recommend Bailey's for a special occassion brunch. It's definitley more pricey than other breakfast type places, but its a nice change if you are looking for somewhere a little more special.

MY REVIEW: It was my wife's birthday and I put that in the reservation on opentable. The hostess greeted us and wished my wife a happy birthday. After dinner was served they surprised her with chocolate cake and ice cream served very nice with happy birthday written on the plate. Unfortunately my wife is allergic to coco (they didn't know). The waiter then went back to get her a bowl of vanilla ice cream. OUTSTANDING!!!! This is our second time there and wish we lived closer to make it a weekly outing.

MY REVIEW: There is a lack of fine dining in the Clear Lake area, so having Bailey's is a nice addition. We went for dinner during the week. No wait. The atmosphere is comfortable and the service was prompt. We ordered a horrible wine and the waiter replaced it with one of their favorites and it was fabulous and still in the same price range. The fried green tomatoes app. is something to dream about. We still talk about that dish. I ordered the pork chop and he had the rib-eye. We loved both. The only negative is the dessert menu is disappointing. We love to cap our meal off with dessert, but nothing appealed to us and we passed. Overall, fabulous place to eat and would recommend it to anyone.

MY REVIEW: Very quaint restaurant in Seabrook. A girlfriend & I went there for lunch. Had the Chicken Salad which was good. Service was good. I'd like to go back there for dinner & bring my husband to check it out.

MY REVIEW: I had heard nothing but great things about this restaurant and four of us expected an excellent experience. I can only say it was OK. Everything was high priced, even by in town standards. I mean really, $16 for a Lobster Cervice appetizer?

The menu had many interesting choices and each of the four of us ordered something different. When it arrived, only three meal appeared. It seemed, someone in the chain had forgotten to turn in one of the items. That's sort of a pet peeve of mine. I don't expect synchronized serving, but I don't think that getting all the meals at once it too big a task. Of the four entree's, three were every bit as good as the menu made them sound. The Ahi Tuna was a bit mushy and rather flat tasting.

The Manager did the right thing by apologizing profusely and comping the late meal. All told I will certainly give it another try, but it didn't live up to my expectations the first time out.

MY REVIEW: Heard good things about the restaurant, and tried the Sunday Jazz Brunch with Friends. The restaurant is very nice, comfortable, and inviting. The $15 bottomless Mimosas were a great starter. I tasted the stuffed french toast, shrimp grits, and bananna pancakes. Their pecan bourbon syrup was wonderful. The Jazz duo was very good, it can get very loud, but the music was good. The service was fine, however go early because they do run out of menu items. All in all it was a great dining experience, and worth the slightly higher price.

MY REVIEW: This was our second visit to this fine addition to the Clear Lake lineup. The ambiance is very nice. It was quite early in the evening, just a few tables. We started with a taste of the special appetizer - the scallops were very good. I ordered the double pork chop and my wife had the beef. We ordered a bottle of wine to go with our meals. Wow, sensational bottle and VERY reasonably priced. This establishment has put some well spent effort into the wine list. The perfectly done entrees came and were accompanied by really interesting sides. A few bites into our meals we realized that we would need another bottle, Oh shucks! About this time we noticed that Bradley's had just about filled up, people were enjoying the very pleasant bar and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

Brad came by our table and visited briefly. He seemed very personable and interested in his customers' opinions. Our total tab for an excellent meal for two, incl. TWO bottles of wine...$125. This is one of Houston's beter resataurants and I would highly recommend a trip from anywhere in Houston to this elegant but not fussy foodie destination.

MY REVIEW: My family had an early Christmas Eve dinner here and it was TERRIFIC! The quality of the food was superb, the ambiance was unmatchable and it was just a wonderful way to spend a very special meal with very special people! There was enough time in between the delicious courses to take family photos, so this was truly a dining experience! We go to church in the area, so we went from one wonderful celebration to another! Thank you so much for bringing a quality restaurant into the Clear Lake Area!

MY REVIEW: The wife and I were in town from Dallas to visit the grandkids over Christmas and wanted to go out for good meal and selected Bailey's based mostly on the reviews here and the location.

The wife ordered the prime rib and I ordered the seafood pasta. It was the best piece of prime rib that I've seen served in a restaurant in probably 10 to 15 years. It was cooked exactly to order and had a great smoky flavor. The seafood pasta was a nice mix of flavors and was very good. The decor was refined but relaxing. Our waitress(Danna I believe) was attentive and all that I want in a wait staff. The wine selection was pretty good and I selected a Texas wine from McPherson that was better than I expected it to be.

The meal was not cheap but we knew that ahead of time and were not looking for a cheap meal. What we got a great meal/dining experience for the dollars that we paid.

The end result - I would dine there again.

MY REVIEW: My family and I decided to have Christmas Eve dinner out for a change. We picked Bailey's because we had difficulty obtaining reservations at some of the other nicer Bay Area restaurants. Fate worked in our favor because we had a very nice dinner. The ambience is nice, and the food is excellent. We started with the crab cakes, which were delicious. I then followed this with a cup of gumbo. The roux was rather thin (almost a dark broth), but the smoked andouille sausage really added to the flavor. For the main course, I ordered the Seafood Pasta Percorino, which contains shrimp, crab and mushrooms in a cream sauce over the thickest spaghetti like pasta I've ever had. It was fantastic. Finally, my wife and I split a plate of bread pudding. It was a huge serving, and it was delicious. The only minus to the occasion was the service which was average at best. Our waitress was not terribly attentive. Other than that it was a fine meal.

MY REVIEW: Will return without a doubt, great food, service and ambiance. Love the decor! The salmon salad was the best salmon we have had in a long time. The pinot chicken was very good (be sure to try the apple-bacon parmesan mashed potatoes), and the apple dessert was yummy!

Kemah needs a place like this, the owner stops by to chat with each table, looking forward to our next visit.

MY REVIEW: I HIGHLY recommend this place! This was our first of many visits to come! The food and service was absolutely amazing! We tried the assorted complimentary breads, Grilled Andouille flatbread, the Chef's featured soup which was a seafood chowder, and the smoked prime rib... all of which were superb! We also tried the apple bacon parmesan mashed potatoes and the mac n' cheese which were also tasty. I have to say the prime rib is probably the best we have ever had! I think this will definitely be one of our favorite restaurants for many years to come as long as the food and service remain excellent!

MY REVIEW: First of all, I have to say that the boring name is a real turnoff and does not leave one to expect quality. Still, I was curious about this place once I found out it was owned by the S*udies people.

Two of us went here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely decor and the innovative menu items. I ordered some sort of French dip sandwich, which came with a choice of regular fries or sweet potato fries. They graciously allowed me to have a mix of both kinds. Yum! The fries looked handcut and were delicious. The meat in my sandwich was tender and flavorful and the jus/gravy was savory. My husband enjoyed his burger very much too.

My only complaint is that the noise in here is deafening. It's very noisy due to the acoustics. There was a loud party of women celebrating a birthday who were seated on the other side of the restaurant, and yet we could hear every single ear-piercing giggle. It's not the patrons' fault though; the retaurant should really do something about the noise, like hang some curtains or something else to soak up the sound.

All the same, we will go back sometime.

MY REVIEW: This is a marvelous restaurant. The salmon, grouper, shrimp and ahi are all delicious as well as the warm beef pasta salad and the prime rib. Each dish has the stamp of a bold, adventurous chef. We have thoroughly enjoyed our meals with wonderful service and gorgeous surroundings. The management certainly shows that they care about you.

It does get noisy at times but I think it is so nice to see peoplefeeling comfortable and having a great time!

We definitely will eat here often.

MY REVIEW: I am amazed that this restaurant is not more well known. The decor is luxurious, and the food is superb. The presentation is absolutely fantastic and the food made the mouth water. An excellent wine list, in spite of the lack of Medoc, my personal favorite for beef, and excellent service, friendly but very polite. We had one problem with the chicken with the raspberry reduction not being completely cooked. It may have had a frozen section in the middle. But Wonderful, Wonderful is a good description for this place. We will return.

MY REVIEW: I am very suprised that this restaurant is not overflowing with people everyday. The food was amazing and the service was the best in town. If you get the chance to eat there, try the pork chops (compliments to the chef). The location is perfect, the building is beautiful and just a lovely place all around. Randy, our waiter, really made our evening great. My wife and I travel all over the United States, and I have to say, he was the most professional, attentive and polite waiter we have every had. We will tell everybody about this place and will definately be dinning there again.

MY REVIEW: This is my first time to eat at Baileys and I highly recommend it! The food was wonderful as well as the presentation. I had the flat bread for appetizer and (butterflied) grilled chicken with pinot grigio sauce. The service was excellent as well.

MY REVIEW: Wow! What a promising new restaurant in the Clear Lake area. We really enjoyed our visit. The menu is limted but very good. My wife had the tuna and it was perfectly prepared and properely seasoned. I had the habanero shrimp and they were mouthwatering. We did partake in the special drinks (though we had to ask for a menu) and enjoyed them. The place still has some minor kinks to work out (took forever to get our drinks - we think the bar tender was new) but well worth it anyway and we will be back!

MY REVIEW: Welcome to Clear Lake! This was our 2nd visit since the restaurant opened only a week or so ago! I must say it was as good (or better) than our first visit (which was incredible)! The decor and ambiance is second to none in the Clear Lake area. Truly a much needed addition to the dining seen. More importantly however is the quality of the food and service! On both of our visits we tried to sample as many items as possible. It is challenging deciding on what to order! While anyone can design and build a beautiful building (which Bailey's has done), few actually deliver on food and service to the level that Bailey's has succeded on doing.

My husband and I travel frequently and have dined in just about all of the "world reknowned" establishments from NY to LA and most points in between. In our opinion, Bailey's ranks in the top 5% of all of our favorites...and imagine right here in Clear Lake! The only down side I can report is the wait for the facilities in the Ladies Room. With only one stall and no waiting area, this is a bit of a concern. Also, the noise level can become a bit overwhelming, but I guess that comes with a room full of very happy diners. I would much rather endure the sound than to suffer on quality of service. Our waiters on both occasions were very knowledgeable and possesed the skills of "proper" service that you just don't find here in Clear Lake (anywhere!). Kudos to the management of this restaurant for recruiting and training only the best! Thank you again for bringing your concept to Clear Lake! We will be frequent and long time customers for sure!

MY REVIEW: Beautiful decor and bar area. Design and menu were very well planned. Four of us ate there and the food was fantastic. We sampled each others dishes and they were all wonderful. I thought mine best which was maple chicken on puree corn with raspberry reduction. Comes with delicious mustard/turnip greens. We also had prime rib, salmon, and macademia nut fried shrimp. Their sides sound as interesting as some of the entree's, for instance jalapeno andouie grits. After dinner we went to the non smoking bar and tried every martini they had---raspberry, dirty with blue cheese stuffed olives, pomegranite, orange and mojito. Wonderful experience. The only negative was that our young waitress had much trouble opening the wine bottle then she accidentally spilled it on my date as she was pouring, walked around the table and then accidentally spilled in on my dinner as she was pouring mine. All in all a very fun and enjoyable evening.
