My mother loves wine and so I figured it would be a good place for her to go. She asked me to go with her one Saturday night in January. We were greeted very quickly and found a nice seat at the bar. Everyone around us was friendly and a lot of couples were sharing bottles of wine. My mother ordered 2 different glasses of wine and I ordered two different beers. Everything we ordered was great. Later we decided to try a cheese tray and it was wonderful. Then we saw people around us eating the cheesecake platter and it looked so delicious that we decided to order one as well. It was a great portion for two and absolutely delicious! The bathroom and entire decor was beautiful and modern. It was a great place to hang out with my mom, but it would also be a great place for a first date, a romantic evening, or just a relaxing place for friends. I will definitely go again and have told all my friends about it as well! I truly loved the decor; dark wood, simple accents, with dim, upscale lighting. The owner greeted us and explained the menu. We tried a couple glasses of red wine along with a brie and gouda cheese tray and the specialty bread that is offered with a delicious dipping oil. The music that was playing was a definite bonus to the entire experience. I know we will be returning very soon. I recommend this Wine and Coffee Cafe to everyone!! NAME: wine_lover SUBMITTED: 6/18/2007   LAST VISIT WAS: 6/8/07 FREQUENCY: Visited once MY REVIEW: My fiance and I were in need of a place to sit and discuss wedding planning whenever we stumbled upon Cork Cafe. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. The lattes were wonderful, the ambiance was most excellent, the service was very friendly and we both immediately felt comfortable. Not the mention the cheesecake platter was not only gorgeous in its presentation, but wonderful to the taste as well. We definitely have stopped in after and plan on continuing our visits.
