Profile Description: Our restaurant is located on The San Bernard River, between Lake Jackson and Brazoria, Texas, and is beautifully landscaped with palm trees, live oaks and flower gardens. Enjoy your meal indoors or outside on our 3000 sq. foot, screen enclosed patio, over-looking the waterway. A great setting for private parties, weddings, receptions, meetings, and banquets! Come listen to some music or watch a game with us. If you’re coming by boat, we have ample dock space, and we sell gas, ice and beer.

MY REVIEW: Lovely spot on San Bernard River, very peaceful. More of a "Fried Basket" kind of place. They do have a website w/menu. No "Fish of the Day", Sat. nite. Go early, they run out of items on the small salad bar. Grilled shrimp were large and good rest was tired and a little pricey if you do not eat baskets. Desserts looked good.

MY REVIEW: I know my visit was a while back but just found they had a profile on here. I completely enjoyed my visit at Dido's. It has been a Brazoria favorite since they opened. Love the deck out back it is covered with a netting so you can enjoy your meal without the little bugs getting to your meal before you do! Will go back!

MY REVIEW: we arrived at the Brazoria area late on a Friday and were very lucky to end up at this hidden but worth finding restaurant. By the time we got there, the only other customers were about to leave, which in most places in Houston would mean bad service and rushed food, but not here - staff was very friendly, food was delicious (we had the catch of the day and a chicken fried steak), and the price was very good. we enjoyed our meal on a table in the outside screened patio, overlooking the river - was a great start for our weekend. we will certainly find an opportunity to return during the day to better enjoy the view and again the food and service.

MY REVIEW: A hidden treasure! This wonderful secluded seafood and steak restaurant is tranquil and tasty. Nestled on the riverbank with half the dinning on an outdoor patio and protected by a huge 15' tall screened-in room that is cooled with ceiling fans, palm tree shade and a cool breeze off the river. We drive from Houston several times a year to escape the city crowds, over expensive dinning and lack of friendly service.

Before we would take our out of town visitor to Kemah, now we go to Dido's were we can eat, relax and actually talk without yelling over the crowd. I hope being off the beaten path keeps them from getting to crowded. The seafood cook "Dido" himself actually fishes for fresh seafood half the week aboard his shrimp boat. Last time we were there we met one of the owners and found out that the steak cook came from 15 years at the famous Houston S*tables steak restaurant. The other manager owner had a T*GIF in north Houston. The combination works great! We always come home happy, relaxed and well fed! Thank you Dido's, please don't change.
