MY REVIEW: I want to like this place, because it is different from everything else in the neighborhood, but I'm underwhelmed each time. Slow, indifferent service for very average sandwiches (I've tried 5 of them). A pet peeve of mine - I was owed $3.01 in change, and was not given the penny. Sure, it is just a penny, but it demonstrates the lack of concern for customer service.

MY REVIEW: Wonderful addition to this part of town, great atmostphere, features local artists' work, great hearty sandwiches, good pastry. Love their chicken salad, salad; they will add whatever you want. Friendly staff (the beginners were a bit rocky but they have it down now). We wish them all the success.

MY REVIEW: It's small, clean and cozy. Their chicken pasta salad is to die for. My husband raves about their Italian Creme Cake but I find it to be quite dry. I much prefer the German Chocolate Cake, it's moist and generously frosted with the traditional coconut icing. The name is a misnomer IMHO. There's not a taco or enchilada or so much as a jalepeno pepper to be found anywhere. It's all about light yet hearty sandwiches (the California Turkey is a favorite with alfalfa sprouts) and salads and frothy beverages. Come on a weekend morning and gorge on fat muffins and latte. Bring your laptop and browse the net while you have a relaxing breakfast and no dishes to clean up afterward.

MY REVIEW: I went there to have a cup of coffee, hot coffee that is. They OBVIOUSLY do not believe in that. I got it and it was warm, like it had been sitting out for about 10-15 minutes. So, I asked for a differetn cup of ceoffe and got some attitude to go with it. It was warmer, but tasted the same. NO VARIATION when it comes to coffee. I am always in the area and you can tell who the regulars are that come in to the shop. Reason being, is because they get priority. Shouldn't every customer be treated equally...? NOT HERE. If they don't know you, you get a cup of SEMI-WARM coffee and a smile. THATS IT.

I am a coffee aficionado. If you are on that side of town... I would check out B*ohemeos. They serve a great cup of coffee and have art on the walls and it is a little more friendlier than what I experienced.
