I adore doubleshots - not only do they have great early hours and are open on holidays, but you feel like they are part of your extended family. on days i have to drive through, it's not unusual to hear "are you in a different car today?" in places like sugarland there's a s*arbucks on every corner, but the quality of the coffee is better at doubleshots! the staff is quick with a good recommendation or, if they're feeling inventive, will ask you to try something they've made up. mostly high school and college student clientele, but i've seen the professionals come through too, all treated with equal respect. it's far enough from major universities that you dont see people camping out and feel put off, too. parking is always good, the restroom is fabulously clean, and the food can satisfy your cravings for sweets - as for salty, the kolaches are in high demand, so i dont bug out if they dont have any at the moment. it's all too easy to fill up your frequent drink card, because it's a pleasure to come back every time. MY REVIEW: the place is awesome. i like the big sofa. it is very comfortable. the people there are funny and cool. i feel at home at doubleshots. i guess that is what brings me back so often. I don't even think S*tarbucks makes their drinks as well as this place does. I tell them what I'm in the mood for and bam! they have it ready for me and it actually tastes really good.. I actually like the variety, of hot, cold, frozen, and food. Amy, one of owners, has such a great smile when I come in, that it makes me feel very welcomed. MY REVIEW: this is my home away from home. the employees and the managers are extremely friendly. they dont just make the drinks or serve the pastries. they take time out to conversate with the customers. there are a lot of regulars and it is obvious why. whether you're in the mood for something cold or hot, this is the place that will hit the spot that you have been craving. the environment is very homey. the wireless internet and the few tv's really make it more comfortable. the range of customers they have go from those in high school to college to professionals. im glad i found this place. its where i go to get away and get work done or just relax and enjoy a good drink or yummy dessert!!! i love you doubleshots!!! Great place to kick it or to do some studying with the free wireless internet. I was not much of a coffee fan, but when I told the associate what kind of coffee I wanted (because Im not to familiar with the names, etc) with a few short questions, he (Will) was able to give me exactly what I wanted! Very knowledable staff, and they carry a varity of coffee, tea, snacks, etc and they even have some drinks that they make up themselves, and they're great! They have a real nice and clean establishment. The set-up is very comfortable for your studying or relaxing purposes. The location is nice and there are various stores for your convience.
