Didi is awesome, I truely haven't had that type of experience anywhere in the U.S. you literally feel like a member of the family. I wish I had discovered this place sooner, everything is fresh, natural, and made with care. Though it would be wise to call ahead and make sure she has some chicken salad for the day, it's the best! I normally don't put much stock into people's reviews because I am such a picky/snobby eater, but this place is for real. MY REVIEW: Didi is a wonderful cook and will cater to anything you want! She is very attentive to your needs and loves your company. I can eat huge portions of her food and unlike any other restaurant with processed foods and preservatives I do not feel full and bloated when I leave. This is only because she uses all organic and natural foods! You can tell by the taste and the way it makes you feel then you are full...the way food should make you feel happy and satisfied. MY REVIEW: I have SERIOUS food allergies, and the people there understood immediately what I needed. They gave me 100% ORGANIC gluten-free lunches and dinners, which is impossible to receive in standard restaurants! If you have a food allergy/sensitivity issue, TELL HER and she will custom make or bake whatever it is you need - - to take home, or to enjoy in the establishment. Everything is 100% ORGANIC, and I think that this is marvelous. I do no know of any other 100% Organic restaurant in Houston. PS - I think she should franchise her establishment. Organic foods tenderly prepared by DiDi served with a smile and a sincere desire to please the customer. One can meet the nicest people at DiDi's Coffee Garden, like Ginger Cook, world renowned artist, Denise, Property Mgr., Walter, a Tai Chi Instructor, Howard from Bulgaria, and the conversation is always stimulating and plentiful.
