MY REVIEW: Food ---Soups are my favorite! Delicious potato and tomato basil. However, the potato soup is listed as "overloaded potato soup" but my order was actually "cream of potato soup" no potato chucks! "If run out of chucks, add some more". Flatbread is tasty. Oatmeal is really good. Texture is just right! If you ask for oatmeal "all the way", it really is "all the way".
Staff / Service ---- now if the food is right, high chance folks will always return; but if bad service becomes constant; people will go elsewhere. Most staff members are pleasant (more often at the register). Training can always be enhanced.
(1/3) I ordered the burger special only once; when my order was placed; moved to the waiting area "AND waited and waited"; I inquired at the counter to to discover that a patron (after me), received my order. That at least warranted some action "to satisfy a customer", right? But no, "here you go ma'mam" I was handed a burger and returned to my bldg. to discover it was "cold." :(
(2/3) The menu showed "vegetable soup with beans", when receiving my order, one employee said "tomato basil" and the other said "yes, it's vegetable"; well I received tomato basil (And it was good, but lightly warm); however, a menu should reflect what is displayed "most of the time."
(3/3) condition of the packaging --- sometimes it nice, and other times, "usually w/ soup or oatmeal" the liquid is smeared or drizzling on the side of the container. No biggee, to some staff. "Here you go" -- so, I just clean it B4 I eat.
Price --- It's fair w/ some items, and others are a bit over-priced; but not too extreme. Always best to offer specials regularly. Good beef burger special right now, would have been nice to have turkey or chicken too.
Location and atmosphere --- convenient to med ctr employees; clean and warm atmosphere, nice hangout and good music mix.

MY REVIEW: Well, I work in the bldg now so I go there at least a few times per week. Can't say any of them know my name, though. They've dropped some of their more interesting fare, such as the goat-cheese-and-red-grape flatbreads, and the ham-and-cheese-on-a-pretzel-stick, for less original offerings like pizzas and burritos. Generally, however, their food remains pretty good. I have come to realize that you must phone in any hot item orders ahead of time during the breakfast and lunch...otherwise you wait forever. You always need to check to be sure they get your order right if you deviate from the items on the menu at all (like ask for "no mayo", or ask for a sandwich to be made on a different type of bread than what its paired with on the menu...I don't particularly like their "wheatberry" bread that most of the sandwiches are offered on). They almost never get it right and you have to ask for a remake. Our office recently ordered several meals for a lunch meeting, and they forgot all of our drink orders! Also, I recently had a cup of soup and flatbread in the later afternoon about 2:45pm (they close at 4pm)..the flatbread was dried out and the broccoli cheddar soup had cooked down to the consistency of queso--blech! The service is variable. Some of the counter staff are very pleasant and go out of their way to get your order right. However, theres at least one girl there in the afternoon who NEVER smiles, always appears sullen, and just slaps stuff in your bag. At any rate, its still a little better than most of the places in the med ctr. I LOVE the fresh squeezed OJ. The coffee is decent. The pastries are all pretty good. The tomato basil soup is good. Just be careful what you order, and when you go. Avoid breakfast and lunch rush if you have to be anywhere in a hurry, unless you're just grabbing a cold item (like a pastry) to go.

MY REVIEW: This is a cute cafe with an ecclectic menu which is a breath of fresh air relative to the otherwise staid institutional offerings available in the Med Ctr. I had a slice of the Red Grape and Goat Cheese flat bread for $1.95, and the Asian Steak Salad (Romaine lettuce, green beans, grape tomatoes, shredded carrots, green onions, and water chestnuts tossed in a Pan-Asisan dressing, topped with sliced beef) for 5.95. Both were good, though the flat bread was a bit on the oily side. I also agree with the other reviewer that its a touch overpriced--the salad was on the small side for six bucks. However, I look forward to sampling some of the selections listed on their menu: breakfast pastries, hot breakfast sandwiches, paninis, sandwiches, wraps, "quiche-adillas", soups, salads, deserts, fresh squeezed fruit drinks, smoothies, teas and coffees. At least the menu looks way better than the generic corporate fast food you're stuck with if you're a Med Ctr employee.

MY REVIEW: The food is very good with mainly sandwiches and salads being offered. The soups are excellent with a different variety offered daily. Am anxious to try the bread bowl stews. The beverages are unique with the white hot chocolate and the mochachino being favorites. They offer a variety of fruit flavored smoothies. The only negative is that portion size is small comparative to price. The quicheadilla is unique but not filling enough for a meal and too small for the price. Very convenient for med center.
