MY REVIEW: The Bake Shoppes baked goods were good enough that I was willing to over look a few bad things. Their casseroles are doughy (tortillas) and nothing special, but convenient. Their tuna and chicken salads were dry and not much flavor. The only friendly person there seems to be the owner. Her staff is terrible, not friendly, and knows nothing abuot their food or their prices. I purcased a gorgeous cake from them, so happy, for about $39. It was custom, and just gorgeous. Today, I sent my husband to pick up a small (very small) premade cake. I about fainted when I found out that the miniature cake was $25. I will never go back.

MY REVIEW: Service was beyond slow, and no smiling staff. The quiche I believe from its soggy nature had been microwave and the accompanying salad contained lettuce and a ¼ - yes - just a ¼ of a tomato, there was no choice of dressing just (I think it was) ranch. My friend unfortunately was as disappointed although she, unlike me, did rate the bread. Sorry but it was a total waste of the $21.00 I paid for 2 lunches.

MY REVIEW: I've been going here for many years. This was a nice, family lunch spot but not anymore. The former owner was funny and always had a smile and a "whistle" when you ordered the giant ding dong. Now the service is so slow that I will never be back. We waited 45 minutes for sandwich/soup combos! When we approached the owner she had a frown, no apology was offered--only a shoulder shrug. She has RUINED this once nice place. It has become--to my eyes and to others with me--a place of cliques and groups. The "shabby chic" decor is so 2001 as well.
The sandwhich was smaller than a Subway small sandwich and not as good. I had tuna salad and the tuna was a "mush" with an oily taste almost like when you don't drain a can of tuna in oil. The soup was OK but not hot. A major pet peeve of mine. This "small" combo came out to over $10 too! WOW! Not good.
Go back to caring about your customer, pricing fairly and having the quality service of the former ower. Until then, we won't be back.

MY REVIEW: I've been to The Bake Shoppe many times over the years, so I was surprised at the higher prices and poor service at a recent lunch visit. A friend and I waited 30 minutes for grilled chicken salads that arrived with cold chicken. It wasn't that crowded and it shouldn't take 30 minutes to throw together a salad. We saw others who arrived after us receive their food before us. When we asked about our food, they just said it was coming. No concern at all. There are too many other places to go rather than put up with poor service and cold grilled chicken for $10.50.
Their baked goods are still great, but I'm really disappointed with the service after the new owners have taken over.

MY REVIEW: I loved the Roast beef sandwich they had before the new owners who changed it to sliced beef similar to A*rby's. It used to be thick slices of meaty looking roast, not ham like slices. I assume most of their food is good, but the roast beef was my reason for going, so I have not been back.

MY REVIEW: Everything I have eaten here has been GREAT! Breads are yummy and baked fresh. Deserts are wonderful and baked fresh. And they even have frozen take-home items that you can pick up and bake at home if you don't feel like cooking. The owners serve everything with a smile -- and the Ding Dongs get a whistle. It's fun to go there and you are never disappointed. They also have an outdoor patio for nice weather.

MY REVIEW: I had heard from co-workers that this place had good food. Well I disagree ... they have GREAT food! Five of us ordered different lunch items and of course one ding dong dessert. Everyone was going mmmm and sharing bites, and then we had the ding dong .... Bravo Bake Shop! Friendly, moderately priced and great food. Next time I review I will be able to select the "everybody knows my name" box.

MY REVIEW: DING DONG CAKE That's all I need to say --- absolutely incredible! We haven't made it to the food yet - just can't get past the Ding Dong Cakes. But, all the served food we noticed looked and smelled sooooo good. I think we're scared to try to the food before Ding Dongs because the portions of food looked huge. Afraid to spoil our appetite before dessert. The owners are the friendliest people in town. If you want to celebrate someone's birthday, pick up some solo Ding Dong cakes. You CAN'T go wrong. They are huge! We were turned on to these cakes by a friend and everyone we have shared these cakes with can't wait to get some for themselves, family and friends.

MY REVIEW: The food is good. So good I have had them cater lunches at my law office. However, the reason to go is to have Vic entertain you. Take your young child or grandchild and you won't be disappointed. My wife gets the chicken and dumplings everytime we go. I've had most everything else. As Vic would say, his crew of grandmothers in the back are really good cooks. Enjoy!

MY REVIEW: These guys are the tops.....made a double decker ding dong cake for my grandson-in-law's groom's cake, there was not a crumb left ! Their lunches are great and I've also taken one of their (frozen) you-bake-it casseroles home for dinner. My husband was impressed. But, the best part is that EVERYONE is treated as though the owners and staff have known you all your life. I highly recommend trying this eatery, you'll see why after one vist.

MY REVIEW: The Bake Shop makes great baked goods. The cheesecake is out of this world, but must be ordered in advance. I only treat myself to cake a few times a year, and when I do, it's got to be from the Bake Shop. Their staff is friendly and all their baked goods are just delicious. The Ding-Dong Cake is one of their signature cakes. My girls always request it for their birthdays.
I have also eaten in the cafe a few times and the sandwiches are fresh and made to order.
