Silver Sycamore Tea Room

MY REVIEW: My mother and I stopped in for lunch and we were very pleased. Nice atmosphere, good service, and very tasty food. My mom ordered the grilled rueben and she raved about it! I had the sampler--very good. We both ordered the potato soup---excellent. Dessert, apple brown betty, was ok. Next time we'll try a different dessert.

We will return, and invite others to come along.

MY REVIEW: Some members of United Scooter Riders of Houston dropped by for lunch. We had a lovely time. The food is good, the atmosphere is quaint, the help is excellent and the owners are dolls.

If you go there DON'T passup the cookies - they'll hurt you but they are worth it!

MY REVIEW: The best little teahouse in Texas! If you love the quaint atmosphere of tea rooms then you'll love the Silver Sycamore. Superb staff, great specials, beautiful handmade gifts by local artisans, fabulous desserts and an ideal location near the east Belt. Don't forget to ask for a tour of the Reception hall next door because you'll seen see why this banquet and meeting facility is tops to even the popular Houston facilities. A unique treasure and you can tell that this former home from the 1930s is a labor of love.
