MY REVIEW: I think one person on here owns a restaurant and resents true talent. Alfredo's is a fantastic restaurant. My husband had the Alfredo's seafood special and I had the rib eye steak. The steak had a fresh mushroom sauce and it simply melted in my mouth. Alfredo is a genius with different sauces. The salad dressings are made fresh and so are his desserts ( no frozen Sam’s desserts here ) He uses fresh ingredients and attends to details with love and care. Alfredo is a fine dining chef to watch. I can’t wait to try their Latino brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

MY REVIEW: I totally disagree with the last review!!!! I always stop by this cozy restaurant and have always had excellent service and food!!!!! This restaurant is owned by a nice couple and i know for sure they would never add a 20% gratuity on just a party of three!!!! I know this because i went with a party of eight one time and they didnt even add the gratuity on that bill!!!! You can not even compare this excellent restaurant with Bistro Le c*ep!!!! Le c*ep is noisy, uncomfortable, and high priced!!!!

MY REVIEW: This place is a cheap copy of Bis*tro Le Cep in Westheimer, and find the same faith as the older Le Bec Fin with terrible food and service. I try the onion soup, it was cold and greasy, then I try the cioppino, as I note a cheap copy from a good bouillabaisse, tiramisu was the only good thing we tried there, our bill was very high and we were charged with 20% gratuity, we were a party of three so I was surprised. Not the place to go!!! Go to Car*merlos of you want good food or just go to the original Bis*tro Le Cep where service and food are always faboulous!!!

MY REVIEW: My mother and I ate at this restaurant and it was very good. The mussels (appetizer) were great. On the entrees, we ordered the Halibut with crab meat and the Cioppino (seafood soup) - both were wonderful. We ended our dinner with two desserts - bread pudding and tiramisu. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It is in a very good location and we can't wait to go back.

MY REVIEW: This restaurant is excellent!! I dined there with my husband and we had a great time. For dinner I had a cup of tortilla soup which was to die for!! For my main course I had the crabcakes and they were great! Everything about the crabcakes were good from the presentation down to the fresh flavor of the crabmeat!! I definantly recommend this cozy restaurant to you dinners out there!

MY REVIEW: What a find! The name “Alfredo’s” conjures up visions of Italian fare but this is not the case at the recently opened Alfredo’s Continental Cuisine on Highway 6 near Bellaire.
Granted there are a few pasta dishes but it has somewhat more of a French Bistro feel to the menu (escargot, French onion soup and a cioppino that is more akin to a French bouillabaisse) with seafood and meat dishes that should tempt most palates. Chef, Alfredo, we were informed, was previously a chef at Bistro Le Cep.
We ate there last night on the recommendation of some friends who dined there last week. I’m glad we did, the service was admirable, attentive but not intrusive, and the food was excellent. The jumbo lump crab meat salad had a Mexican twist, the mussels’ white wine sauce was full of flavor For entrée, I had the calves liver (I know, not everyone’s taste but take note all you Dutch out there!) and it was truly delicious. The beef tenderloin was also cooked to perfection. The menu was also very reasonably priced.
We were all too full for dessert but did manage to share a crème brulee between 4 of us. The topping was nice and crisp and the dessert nice and creamy. Chef Alfedo was very receptive to the suggestion that the dessert menu needs to be expanded to include something with the word “chocolate” somewhere in the description .
This place is well worth a visit and at the moment the restaurant is still awaiting a liquor license so they invite you to BYOB. Grab your favourite wine and get there quick.
