MY REVIEW: I've been going to this tea room since I was a pre-teen when it was in the little burgundy shack on HWY 35. I had my wedding shower at their next location by L*ynda's Pantry, and held my sister's baby shower at their newest location by Jamison Middle School.

The food is good and fresh. I always get the Pear Tree special; 2 (or 3?) types of sandwiches (tuna salad and pumpkin bread with cream cheese for me) a soup and your choice of house or fruit salad. Before your meal arrives they bring out little dainty cups filled with delicious, hot spiced tea that'll make your stress melt away. And do try it iced too. It's great on a hot Texas day!

Unfourtunately, they've gotten quite popular since they moved to their newest location, and service quality has definitely gone down. Instead of nice old ladies serving you, it's snarky, bad attitude having teenagers (although the tall thin young man who works there is quite nice)

So, in conclusion, the food is good, the atmosphere is nice, if you have a little while to wait for slow (and sometimes rude) service, then check this place out. The pumpkin bread and spiced tea are definitely worth it!

MY REVIEW: Love their pumpkin bread and spiced tea. Service is always good. Great place for the gals to go or for a lunch with your mom.

MY REVIEW: It's a very relaxed, homey atmosphere but not decorated very much. So if you are looking for a "girly" tea room or something fancy, then you may want to keep looking. The food though is pretty good and the prices really can't be beat. I like it and plan on going back whenever I am in that area. It's a good little place to just pop into and grab something.
