I could eat there everyday. No other restaurant compares to all the delicious entres at Molina's. I always purchase their hot sauce and queso to bring home. MY REVIEW: We had an enjoyable meal at Molina's. It isn't all that fancy, but the service was good (without being too attentive), we were happy with their recommendations, and the servings were huge. There is no way either of us could finish it all. We are from Canada and we can't get over how large the serving sizes are at restaurants in Texas. NAME: Melelina SUBMITTED: 3/1/2008   LAST VISIT WAS: February 2008 FREQUENCY: Visited once MY REVIEW: On this unseasonably warm December afternoon, we decided to eat on the patio at this new Molina's cantina. The food was extraordinary - shrimp quesadillas were superb, and my tacos al carbon were among the best I've had anywhere. And you haven't tasted refried beans until you've tasted these... yes, they're made with bacon fat, just sit back and enjoy them and don't obsess over it. My margarita was tasty and potent without being too strong. So, a rave for the food... but a raspberry for the service. We never could figure out who, exactly, was our server, but after taking our order quickly food and drink was slow to come and glasses were never refilled. When it was time for the check, we waited... and waited... and waited. But for such an enjoyable afternoon these were annoyances, not major problems, and we'll definitely be back again. NAME: Jim A. SUBMITTED: 12/16/2006   LAST VISIT WAS: Dec. 2006 FREQUENCY: Visited once MY REVIEW: I was overjoyed and anxiously awaiting the Washington Ave. location to open, as it is in my daily pathway between girlfriend and work routes... It's fancy Molina's...kinda small dining room, not nearly enough booths, cute palapa if the weather is nice like now. I will usually opt to sit at the bar...drinking ice cold dos xx in frozen solid mugs with limes...and eating my usual...NANCY AMES NACHOS and usually a side of queso...or more recently a beef fajita taco al carbon, nice and smoky flavor! yummmy... I may have eaten here up to 5 times already and they have barely been open a month. I am hooked but I must admit the Westheimer location cant be beat flavorwise...I will still frequent that one as well. love it love it love it. Sat in the bar and had fajitas. It was pretty crowded! Fajitas were good, service was friendly and efficient...overall a very nice experience. I'll definetely be back many many more times...I need to try the margs!
