My family eats there frequently because the food is delicious and reasonably priced and the service is outstanding. The friendly wait staff are attentive and the owners are always present to greet you. Breakfast on Fridays and Saturdays is delicious; we like the omelettes, quiche and waffles. For lunch or dinner we enjoy the chicken marsala, fried catfish, ravioli, chicken salad and lasagna. There is also a children's menu for the little ones. This is a family favorite! What a fantastic place to eat. The balsalmic vinagerette dressing was the best I've ever had. They make their own. The portions were more than fair for the price. The service was excellent. We'll be back many times in the future and i would recommend this place to anybody. The food was excellant with great portion sizes for the money. The service was top notch and the waitresses are very charming. The owners are on the spot tending to all details and ensuring that every customer has a pleasant experience. I have found a great new place that we will definitely make a part of our weekend breakfast experience. A welcome addition to the neighborhood. Highly recommended. Very consistent with excellent service, food quality and preparation. The owners and staff truly add to the dining enjoyment with their friendliness and genuine caring attitude. Selection is moderate but more than adequate. Many family recipes add to the special nature of this "comfortable" cafe. We will return often. MY REVIEW: My husband and I have eaten here numerous times and the food and service is consistently excellent. The ambiance is casual and very comfortable. The dining area, kitchen, and restrooms are all very well maintained and the owners are hands-on and very cordial. The waitstaff is also friendly and efficent. We've eaten from both the breakfast and lunch menus and have been pleased with the selections offered. The eggs benedict is exceptional and the freshly squeezed orange juice is a tasty treat. The man-size chicken fried steak is a good and filling choice and the thinly sliced home fries are to die for! We really enjoy this restaurant because they make you feel like part of the family and the food is great. We plan to visit often. The owners are always there making sure that everyone is happy with their food and service. The food is very good and always served in a very appealing way. The specials of the day are always very appetizing. I love the fresh fruit, pancakes and the homemade potato chips. The staff is really friendly and the restaurant is decorated very warmly and cozy. This is one of my favorite places to eat. THe first time we went the cafe had only been open a few days, but you'd never know it- the waitstaff and cooks seemed as though they were there for years! The waitstaff, and owners were all very friendly, and it felt like eating "at home." This time we took our 2 year old and boy were they great with here. They put her order in first and we were quite impressed by the "Kids Plate" size. We ordered the chicken nuggets and mac n cheese, and my daughter just loved them. This restaraunt is wonderful the food is amazing and it has that "just like home" feel. NAME: ariel SUBMITTED: 11/19/2006   LAST VISIT WAS: 11/18/06 FREQUENCY: Visited 2-3 times MY REVIEW: The Eden Cafe was only open for two weeks when my wife and I visited. They don't seem to be suffering from "opening day" problems like some places we've eaten. We went for breakfast and had a thoroughly nice time, thanks not only to the good food but also to the waitstaff. Our waitress made several helpful suggestions and was always there with the coffee pot when we needed a refill. My wife had the pancakes. She chose to have a bowl of fresh fruit instead of the hashbrowns. I would have preferred bigger pieces of fruit but they were very fresh. I ordered the migas. I was a little concerned that they used corn chips instead of tortillas but it was delicious. The portions are about right for the price although my wife was only able to finish half her pancakes. The service was exceptional. Our waitress, although young, knew what she was doing and was always there when we needed her but didn't hover over us. All in all a very pleasant experience and I look forward to going back for lunch. They serve breakfast and lunch only. The fare is simple but good.
