MY REVIEW: Took my kids to eat here the other day...I must say, the food is pretty good. It wa around 3 in the afternoon so the place was totally empty, which my daughter is a handful so I dont mind. I absolutely love their Enchiladas Mexicanas. This has to be the only place I know of, that serves this type of authentic mexican enchiladas with green sauce, lettuce and the mexican cheese. All other places have the Tex-Mex enchiladas which are great but I grew up on the real deal, and to me they are the way to go. Really like this place, and prices are fair. No problems here, we will be back.

MY REVIEW: I have yet to be disappointed with this place. The food is always awesome and the service is great. I would recommend this place to anyone. It is a lot better than most of the mexican food places around. Everything tastes like it is homemade and is really loaded with a lot of flavor. If you go, I highly doubt that you will be disappointed.

MY REVIEW: Good, above average, consistent Mexican food. Great margaritas...get the Jumbo for 5.00...great deal and it packs a wallop. Service is always attentive and friendly and the ambiance is quite inviting as well. Been coming here for 1 year at least twice a month and NEVER have had a negative experience. I highly recommend it. Great combination plates...best way to sample their fare.
Go on Friday and hear the live music...the guy...I think his name is Carlos, and he's terrific.

MY REVIEW: Best Tex-Mex in NW Harris County, and now they deliver to your home ! The best Guacamole and Queso anywhere. Terrific Burritos and tacos. Service is excellent, always. This little place is surrounded by so many other Mexican restaraunts in the Copperfield area and it's like Las Lomas beats 'em all ! Just wish there were a better parking area.

MY REVIEW: We love this place. We try to go on Thursdays for the live music, but sometimes we break down and go on other days. The spinach enchiladas are wonderful, the chunky avocado salad is tart and tasty, and the margaritas as volatile.
The waitstaff really makes it a great dining experience.

MY REVIEW: The tortilla soup was tasty, and the chunky avocado salad was good. Otherwise, I was disappointed. The beef fajitas were possibly the worst I've had. The chicken was better, but very plain. The shrimp diablos were OK, but for four medium-ish shrimp, the value wasn't good. We love strong margaritas, but their namesake margarita was way too strong and I only tasted orange even after squeezing several limes into it. The "music" was a man playing pre-programmed keyboards and singing along. It was what you would expect for canned music, but the crowd really seemed to enjoy him--clapping, dancing, singing. It was pretty loud. The service was friendly but careless. I asked for two things (limes and my husband's charro beans), and one I had to ask for again before getting it. The other item I never received.
I definitely won't return.

MY REVIEW: Food was excellent and the price was right on. Service was outstanding and very friendly. We went on a Friday night and they had live music there. Way to loud but that isn't enough to deter us from visiting again. Going to try going there for lunch next time and maybe it will be a little more quiet. Overall, A+ for this place!

MY REVIEW: A drive-by surprise! The location (strip center) and unassuming decor had us prepared for average Mexican food. Wrong. It was *excellent*. The menu was varied and had a lot of veggie and seafood entres for the health-conscious. They are one of the few places that offer real veggies with their fajitas, not just rice, beans and the occasional squash. The salsa was hot and chunky (and we got free queso, which they offer during the day). Service was fast, friendly and absolutely correct, which is surprising, because we have a few "quirks" that most places can't seem to get right.
The restaurant is outside of the city limits, so it does allow smoking, but the smoking section is well isolated from the rest of the restaurant. The bar is small, but they make a great margarita. Prices were on the low side of average.
Only one small complaint. Paper napkins. Maybe that's only during the day, but it's the one thing that keeps the place from being mucho classy.
We've been back once since our discovery and plan to do so quite often.

MY REVIEW: My wife and I decided to try it out based on the coupon we received in the mail. Since we were out running errands, I checked the reviews at B4-u-eat from my Blackberry...just to be sure. As other reviews have consistently stated, the food is good and the price is right.
I had the chalupas with fajita and my wife shared a combo plate with our daughter. Everything was just right and it was nice they brought us each a little queso chip/puff before our entrees. I also ordered a gold margarita and it hit the spot...too bad it was Sunday night.

MY REVIEW: It is a great place to have around the neighborhood. I have been on and off from many years, the food itself is consistently good although the portions have gotten smaller and of course the prices higher. I give them an excellet review due to the fact that they gave me last time CHILE CON QUESO on the table along with salsa verde for the introductory chips Great touch! dont! stop.

MY REVIEW: Excellent little place. We (the ladies) frequent this place every Friday for $2 Margarita's and the live music at 6pm. The place is very friendly and the food is great. I have had just about everything on the menu and am never disappointed. Yes the drinks are strong and good but they will sneak up on you. We dance with the waiters; it's a fun environment and they've just added flat screens. WOW. My best recommendation is the Camarones Diablo (Shrimp Diablo) WOW and the Salsa Verde is the best. GOOD PRICES!

MY REVIEW: I agree with the previous reviewers. Very nice little neighborhood restaurant. Will definitely become one of our regular places. The music is fun. The margaritas are very strong, be careful!

MY REVIEW: Its the best mexican restaurant Ive been to in a long time. I enjoyed the food and the service is always excellent, they are very courteous and friendly and make me feel at home. but most of all I go there for the live music, because I'm from out of the country and the romantic music reminds me of home. Great memories!!!! Alberto Cortez is the best!!!!
