I have gone there for years and quality only improves. If you have any restrictions to a diet you are on, they will happily customize a dish for you to suit your needs. They have a great fried green tea icecream and some of their custom sushi rolls are to die for. They have a Chin Won Roll that has a great assortment of fried softshell crab, shrimp, avacado and then topped with eel if you want. Sooooo good! The place is family run and is very relaxed. It is a perfect place to just relax after a hard day of work. I haven't really found any weak points to this place and hope they continue on as they have. MY REVIEW: I love this place. The staff is like my granparents. Go to see the fish that is trained by the lady owner. I hope that they last a long long time because I don't know where else I would go to buy my Chinese food. Their crab puffs are very good. Also they give fried chips as appetizers that I love. I've been with my family many times and always look forward to my visits. I have never experienced slow staff and thoroughly enjoy their conversations with us. I always have an enjoyable dining experience from the delicious food to the friendly and attentive service from the owners and staff. Great Sushi Plate lunch special. MY REVIEW: Excellent, excellent chinese food and very fresh Sushi! Chin won has the best tasting chinese food I have found in Katy area. It is located in a nice little strip center behind the fast food "Panda Express"(which stinks)at the corner of Mason and Westhiemer Parkway. The atmosphere is nice, with a newly added Sushi bar. The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak GOOD english. Their prices are resonable. I have tried nearly every dish and have never been disapointed. They only use white chicken meat for their General TSO's chicken. I also love their version of the california roll. They also deliver! You have tried the rest, so try the BEST !!!! MY REVIEW: the food is excellent and the service is decent. they added a sushi bar so i like to eat there more. they do spend a little too much time chit chatting but the place still feels homey and relaxing. They tend to spend to much time just chit chatting when I can't understand the poor english. But like I said food is good.
