MY REVIEW: Wonderful place. The food, the atmosphere and the warmth of the place. We especially enjoyed the time the owner spent describing the different dishes available to us. My wife and I ordered a few different things and were pleasantly surprised by everything we ate. We have been there a few times and will certainly return many more times!!!!!

MY REVIEW: I love Middle Eastern food and rarely get the opportunity to enjoy it because I live in a smaller city which doesn't have many restaurants. That's why I was so delighted to find the Tammera Grill. The food is excellent, the people are friendly and the environment is quiet and relaxing. I loved the tabouli and the baba ghanoush. Just about everything was good, but those were were wonderful.

MY REVIEW: Saturday night, not many people. Vegetable were cold and dry. Grill should have been cleaned. Burn bits of "stuff" in all the meats heated on the grill. Sorry, I was expecting so much more from the reviews. Will stick with the drive to Montrose.

MY REVIEW: I was in Sugar Land for a week of business training and by far the best meal I had while there was at Tammera. I was warmly greeted by Mouna, the owner, and served a great vegetarian meal. Everything was quite tasty and very reasonably priced. To top off the meal, I had a Syrian coffee with a nice cookie, on the house. When I return to the Houston area in a few months, I will be looking forward to eating at Tammera again.

MY REVIEW: I came to Tammera's with my son who is a vegetable nut from Austin. I knew he would like the tabouli and the hummus. He commented on the flavors and freshness. We also both had the grilled salmon special. It was cooked to perfection and tasted and looked like the wild salmon variety, which I prefer. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to eat healthily in a relaxing beautiful atmosphere. Mona is very gracious and makes you feel very welcome....like a part of her family.

MY REVIEW: I love this place! This is a great departure from the typical hamburger, salad or fish taco for lunch. There is a reason that the Mediterranean diet is so healthful and they do it well at this restaurant. I often go in and order just hummus and pita with eggplant, but the gyros are awesome too.

MY REVIEW: Put simply, this is the BEST mediterranean restaurant outside of Houston and certainly one of the best in the Houston area. Mouna is very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and just the right proportions. Try the shawerma with that fantastic garlic sauce, the kebab, the cauliflower with tahini sauce, baba ghanouj, hummus, the fresh salads...Do you see what you've done? Now I'm getting hungry! Another thing that impressed me is that this place is just as good at lunch time as it is at dinner time. Always fresh and delicious. This is not necessarily true at other similar style restaurants. Thank goodness, now we don't have to look far for great mediterranean food.

MY REVIEW: I am third generation Lebanese-American. My roots are strong in mediterranean cooking, dancing and friendship. I have eaten at every mediterranean restaurant in the Houston area. Tammera is the best tasting of them all. I feel at home in the lively atmosphere delivered by the owners and chefs. If you are an eggplant fan, you must visit. I eat at Tammeras every visit to Sugar Land which is monthly.

MY REVIEW: We were thrilled to happen on to this wonderful restaurant! The food is great and very healthy. Also, very tasty. I love the Kabobs and the hummus and tabouli salad. My partner likes the chicken schwerma, and the rice, potatoes, and green beans. Everything I've tried I've liked. And you don't have to dress up. The owners make the place with their outgoing personalities. It's definitely worth trying.

MY REVIEW: I am in Sugar Land for a business and it can be tough sometimes to be away from home for a while in a new place without home cooked meal. I got lost driving from work to the hotel my first time and I am glad for that. While looking for the right road came across to the café and since I was hungry Mediterranean food sounded just superb. Being Mediterranean myself I was not expected to have a good experience, however to my great surprise the food was just perfect, people were extremely nice and helpful. It felt home away from home.
Chicken Kebab is a must try, did not try baklava since I was already full but I will in my next visit with my Turkish coffee.
If you want just perfect portion, healthy, and refreshing food Tammera Mediterranean Grill is the place to go.

MY REVIEW: Sugar Land's newest treasure! Tammera is, with out a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Sugar Land. It was so good.... we went 2 nights in a row!! The eggplant is outstanding, the lamb is cooked to perfetion.... there was not one item on the menue that did not "knock my socks off".
The only problem is the name! The new owners decided to stay with the original name. Believe me, that is the only thing that to appears to have remained original.
Please, treat yourself to a wonderful experience and try Tammera at least once..... I am sure you will be a regular.

MY REVIEW: Visiting from California and had to try the Tammera's. Boy was it great food! You could not ask for more friendly staff. Everyone was very, very nice ... especially Mona. They truly raise the bar for stellar customer service! I will definately come back on my future visits.
They have the best grape leaves I have ever had.
The Turkish coffee puts *bucks to shame! No need to ask for a double shot ...
The baklava was excellent.
The ground beef kabob was great...the rice was tasty, and the greek salad was probably my favorite.
Check it out yourself... and tell Mona hi!

MY REVIEW: Two words...Absolutely fabulous!! Food is always fresh and tasty. The fish is just wonderful! This is our new regular place. Super friendly staff and owners. We always feel welcome -- like friends have come over for dinner. Fantastic salads and stuffed grape leaves...fish and chicken -- yum!! And the vegies!! I enjoy F*adi's but Tammera's is MUCH better AND closer! I'm so glad Sugar Land has this hidden gem. I hope it's here to stay. We're on our way there now. :)

MY REVIEW: We were there for dinner with friends who had eaten at Tammara previously, our friends were quite coy, i.e. they said we should try it, they kind of liked it; we were sandbagged.
It is Fantastic food, plus, wonderful and personal service - the kind of place where you want to be a regular.
We ordered the appetizer sampler: the spicing is balanced, nuanced, and authentic. The flavors are fresh, fresh as the fresh herbs used in all their cooking. What can I say? One more thing, if you love Turkish coffee, it is exceptional, a secret ingredient is employed - to our delight.
The only negative: no wine yet, but, it is coming
I should mention that from the street/parking lot, it does not look like much - but: once you are inside the sincere attention and friendliness of the owners, not to mention the abundant and fabulous food, more than makes up for the average interior.

MY REVIEW: Tammera Grill is absolutely wonderful! Mona was very nice to me. Her positive attitude is part of the reason that I keep coming back. The other part is (of course) the food. When I came in, everything looked so good. Mona always offers to explain any unfamiliar foods. The first thing that I noticed (on the salad bar) was a very pink salad. I asked Mona what it was. When she first said "beet salad" I made a face. She laughed a little and then offered me a taste of it. I've never thought anything with beets in it would taste so good. (the beet salad turned out to be a Russian salad called "shuba". now it's one of my favorite salads!) You have to try the lamb. It's so tender it practicaly melts in your mouth. The rice is very flavourful along with the grilled chicken and grilled veggies. Try the wraps, they make a wonderful quick and light lunch.
They have a different speicial every day that they supirse you with. I've tried most of then and I have loved them all. The interior of the resturant is so welcoming and home-like. It is also very clean. I don't think it could get any better than this. There isn't enough room here for me to list all the good things about this place. You have to go and see (and taste) it for yourself. I wish them the best of luck and hope they stick around for a very long time!

MY REVIEW: First visit for a quick lunch. Boy, was I surprized to find really good mediterranean food. The grape leaves were awesome. as was the gyro (lamb) meat. I saw so many other things that I want to try. What particularly attracted me was how healthly you can eat here and be able to watch your carbs, fats, and sugars. Though this was my first visit, it won't be my last. I'll be bringing the family soon. I was also pleased to see they do catering. A real secret in Sugar Land... but not for long !!!!

MY REVIEW: We normally don't write reviews - just read others' comments prior to going to a restaurant for the first time. However, our experience at Tammera Mediterranean Grill was so delightful we felt compelled to share with others our experience. Being that my husband's passion is cooking, we frequent restaurants trying new dishes. We ordered the Chef's Special and had lamb shank, egg plant and humus - all to die for. The lamb was succulent - actually so tender it fell from the bone and the taste - well let's put it this way - We can't wait to go back. Having lived in Sugar Land most of my life, we welcome good restaurants without the drive.

MY REVIEW: Really good food. Staff is friendly, helpful. Mona comes over to sit with us, and discuss the restaurant's progress. I like the veggie platter, almost too much to finish.
