It had very little of the slow-smoked flavor good Texas BBQ has. I knew something was wrong when I saw no smoke ring on the sliced brisket. The pork, sausage, rolls, and side dishes were better though. I'll probably go back, but I wish the brisket was up to Texas standards. NAME: Mr. "I love great food!" For a mall restaurant, you cannot beat the taste and flavor. I love the giant baked potato with everything and chopped beef is delicious and their brisket is excellent! The quality of food served at Dickey's is excellent, my wife enjoys the pulled pork and I enjoy the sausage and beef brisket. The staff has become adjusted to service The Woodlands folks, now that the place has been opened a few months, although expected for a new place. Definitely a place to enjoy great BBQ. We recently picked up two family orders for a last minute family get-together and everyone was raving about the food. My husband and I both had sandwiches. One was sliced beef and mine was shredded. Both sandwiches lacked flavor and moistness. Staff service was marginal and I watched several employees ging back and forth to the coke machine several times. I find that employees should keep away from serving theirselves during peak hours. Staff was very young and this behavior is to be expected. Will try again and maybe try the pulled pork. The sweet tea was perfect and buns were fresh. It is a nice bonus for free soft served ice-cream to have for kids and adults. The beef and pork are mosit and the portions are huge! The sauce hands down has to be the best...
