Not only do they serve tapioca drinks but also a taste of Filipino food. Halo-halo,egg rolls,and the empanadas were great.This place also serve some Pinoy Combo, which we will try next time. I went here expecting a good Vietnamese sandwich, before I headed to work; but thats not what I got. When I got there the grill wasn't working, and that should have been a tip off. I settled for chicken tenders and fries, and it was standard, nothing special. I decided to get a milk tea and it was terrible. They used Jasmine tea for their milk tea, which tastes flowery and perfumed, and totally ruins the taste of the tea. Also the tapioca balls we hard in the middle, as if they hadn't been totally soaked. Needless to say I will NEVER be back. There are too many great Vietnamese Sandwich and Tapioca places in Bellaire for me to subject myself to this. I will just try to find a nice place to eat in Pearland before I go to work. The Halo Halo is a very beautiful looking dessert, but various ingredients of the dessert, such as corn and beans, are just too extreme for your average Americans. We will happily stick to the tapioca drinks. NAME: condo SUBMITTED: 8/20/2006   LAST VISIT WAS: July 2006 FREQUENCY: Visited 2-3 times MY REVIEW: Excellent. Great shaved ice and tapioca tea. All the food is very fresh. The shaved ice / Halo Halo is excellent. The ingredients used to make the iced dishes/ drinks are fresh and very tasty (some of the best we have ever had) The hot food is was also great. We are glad to have this kind of food in town!
