We ordered 2 regular burgers and one bareback burger. The bareback burger is supposed to come with meat, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, & fries. This meal costs a little bit more than a regular burger at $7.45. With this order I did not receive the lettuce or tomato and the amount of guacamole equaled a teaspoon! The 2 regular burgers did come with all the ingredients but the slice of cheese was very small. FYI: Do not trust the pictures on their website! Their burgers do not look like the picture displayed. You would like this place if all you want to do is watch TV. There are many to choose from. The chicken dinner with the pico de gallo is my favorite- and the green beans are awesome! Try them- they will remind you of Sunday dinner at Grandma's. We have tried many things on the menu and have never been disappointed. The burgers, the quesadillas, the nachos, the fajitas, the buffalo wings, the chicken fried steak, the sandwiches...they're all excellent. The buffalo wings, in my opinion, are way better than any of the chains you see everywhere that specialize in them, plus they actually give you blue cheese or ranch and celery WITH the wings instead of charging extra like all those other places do these days. I also think the fajitas are surprisingly top notch. I've never had such tender fajita chick and beef in my life. We're also drinkers and the prices on beer are good, plus many specials on certain nights of the week. What else can I say? We love this place! Especially when Shannon is our waitress. Every visit we've tried something new and are delighted each time; we agree the cheeseburger is fantastic. Agree they could assert more effort to refilling the beer early, especially with those fantastic jalepeno bottle caps. Always friendly, though, and try hard to please. The food reminds me of the taverns in the small towns by where I grew up in the midwest -- down to earth and filling. Perfect spot if you want to grab a hamburger and a beer! While the food has been excellent, served hot, and quickly, the bar service seems to be slow. I don't know if we've always been stuck with a waiter not old enough to serve alcohol or what, but the staff needs to learn to at least ask if we'd like another beer-- especially if we've just ordered two jalepeno based appetizers as well as our meals and it's dollar draw night! I love the fries, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. Chicken fried chicken is the best I have ever had. The bar atmosphere is friendlier and quite a bit less smokey than any other bar I have been to. Many single women have mentioned to me that they find this bar more comfortable than the others around this area. There is a non-smoking area seperate from the bar as well. MY REVIEW: First visit to this new restaurant, and we'll be back. Chicken fried steak - melted in our mouth. And the steak was huge. Gravy was just right - not too milky and not too thick. Flavors were wonderful. My tortilla soup was very tasty; could have had more white chicken chunks in it. The French Dip sandwich was also very good. Best onion rings on this side of town. They were not greasy, and had a light breading. Perfect for my taste. Looking forward to trying other menu items. For one thing, they could use a salad spinner to get rid of excess moisture from the lettuce. Right now, the lettuce makes the sandwiches soggy on the bottom. Also, they could use more dense buns and toast or grill them to provide some texture. I wound up eating my sandwich with a knife and fork. Amazingly, my fries were hot and my wife's were cold. They did make her up some new ones that did come out quite hot, but we were almost done with our meals by then. Maybe the bar will do well, but they need to work on the food part.
